Daily Itinerary DAY ONE: MELBOURNE/SYDNEY - LORD HOWE ISLAND This morning board Air Adventure s Outback Jet for the flight across to Lord Howe Island. From the East Coast of the mainland it s just a 90 minute flight uncl you land on your own slice of paradise in the South Pacific. Lord Howe Island is known for its lovely perpetual spring weather and is home to just 300 locals. The island restricts the amount of visitors so you will never see a crowd. ALer being greeted at the airport by your hosts you will be transferred to the luxurious confines of Capella Lodge, sister property to Southern Ocean Lodge on Kangaroo Island. The priscne North Bay is located in a remote area of the Lagoon that surrounds Lord Howe Island. Accessible by boat our day long excursion takes you to stunning coral gardens. See abundant fish life, enjoy bushwalking and visit seabird colonies. A sumptuous BBQ lunch will also be served.
