A 90 YEAR OLD FAMILY HISTORY Le Pigonnet is known to be an unconditional institution in Aix-en-Provence, a family history that since 1924 managed this elegant mansion. 3 YEARS TAKE OVER Le Pigonnet used to be a sleeping beauty that needed a little attention and a good strategy. Today, the team is delighted to implement our expertise to carry on the dream and the magic that surrounds this mythical hotel and by sharing the vision of luxury made in Provence. Le Pigonnet s goal is to genuinely create your home away from home, where you may find a flawless quality service but above all a friendly and sincere environment, not often felt in too standardized hotels. Here is a little update on what has been accomplished since the new management : - Renovated 21 rooms as well as added to its portfolio an apartment with a hotel service offer - Renovated following the fire security standards & norms - Improved in-room equipment with a Nespresso machine and a water boiler, changed all the TV system - Changed all the mini bars and selected products made in Provence for guest to experience fully - Developed the website as well as a concierge website for our guests to best prepare their journey - Strengthened the F&B offer by developing its local reputation : have some live music playing every Tuesday s and Thursday s by the bar - Renovating with adequate technological system to the business facilities and adding a conference room - Added a Petanque pitch in the gardens as well as a Romantic Table service - Reached 3rd position on the TripAdvisor ranking in a year time from a 22nd ranking

LA TALE DU PIGONNET The bistro-gastro restaurant La Table du Pigonnet offers a Mediterranean cuisine highlighting the best seasonal products and local flavours. The dishes can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors, overlooking the hotel s garden and the century chestnut tree alley.

LE 1924 BAR & COTE JARDIN BAR Have a cocktail at our cosy and intimate inside bar or a glass of champagne at our garden lounge bar. Our bartenders will be delighted to assist you through our beverage menu alongside with a light meal. There is live music performances every Tuesday & Thursday evening.

DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES Checking the daily tasks and planning long-term projects by overviewing : - Daily & monthly management reports - Customer relationship (VIP arrivals, quality of their stay, management complaint...) - Quality inspection (following procedures, cleanliness of the hotel, service performance) by implementing and relying on, for example, mystery visits - Evaluation of customers satisfaction (evaluation questionnaire, TripAdvisor...) - Daily maintenance execution, control the maintenance contracts and the smooth running of health & safety procedures - The financial management aspects (monitoring the payroll, summary on the revenue departments by comparing it to previous year & overall budget overview) - Follow-up for all operational services to ensure SOP implementation - Development of the long-term projects (renovation action plan ) Assisting the F&B development, events department, communication department with the: - Creation & follow-up of artistic events (live music, brunch, masquerade ball..) - Approving menu s - Improving and optimizing service performance Responding to the different needs of Human Resources as: - Recruitment & Training - Rules & Regulations diffusion (staff booklet, uniform procedure, ) - Follow-up with various head of departments

DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES Strengthening relationship with local institutions and play a key role in the tourism industry by: - Developing partnerships with Le Grand Theatre de Provence, International festival of lyrical art of Aix-en-Provence, Tennis competition Open du pays d Aix - Developing corporate sponsorships with Ballet Preljocaj and Centre International des Arts en Mouvement - Participating in the core member committee of the Club Hoteliers du pays d Aix where hoteliers of the region meet Develop Le Pigonnet branding to reinforce its image and visibility online by: - Developing a new graphical chart and identity guideline - Developing a new website and assuring its development following Le Pigonnet s evolution - Strengthening and actively develop the social media applications such as Facebook and Instagram - Developed a concierge application for guest use Develop Le Pigonnet sales & marketing force by: - Planning a strategic action plan following the sales objectives and in order to attract the interested markets (MICE & Leisure segments) - Participating to the various tourism meeting incentives (ILTM, SLH Travel Shows ) - Developing Le Pigonnet database - Creating newsletters and packages in order to attact the different markets

Started as 53 % of Occupancy Rate and finished with 70 % in 2016 with a stronger RevPar at 161 from 119. Was at the 30th position on Tripadvisor and today is #3. Boosted the F&B department from 21 536 covers in 2014 to 34 349 covers in 2016.
