Students Social Life on Campus Our campus has no less than 5 restaurants such as 6-8. Presszó, Kupola Büfé, Building D Snack Bar, XO Bistro and the famous Trefort Kert where university parties often take place. These spots are all great for meeting new people and making new friends because most students gather here during the breaks between classes. Several events, such as sport tournaments, trainings and theme parties are also organized by our students, which you can RSVP to on our Facebook page. Accommodation Halls of residence You can apply for a place in 5 different halls with great public transport nearby via ELTE. Our halls are the perfect place to meet other students and as they are very cheap (around 32/month), moving in could be a great way to save some money! Flats Whether you like modern or older flats, you can choose from tons of options! If you go for the more elegant look, we recommend you look for an flat in a block somewhere in the centre, for example in Király Street or Astoria. As you may know, Budapest is a fast developing city; so there are many modern flats to rent all around the city go to Corvin sétány, and see for yourself! The prices may vary, but the average rent is around 150 300/month. For more information please visit the link below. http://www.kolhok.elte.hu/languages/en/elte-kolhok 3

Darian USA Budapest Budapest, the capital and largest city of Hungary has tremendous possibilities to offer to its visitors. It s often referred to as the Pearl of the Danube (a river that crosses the middle of the city) because of its beautiful sights. It has been included on the list of Forbes, The Guardian, The Telegraph and many other news sites as one of the most affordable cities in Europe. It was also nominated Europe s number one greatest city by Condé Nast Traveler Readers Choice Awards 2013. Why is Budapest so popular amongst tourists? The top 5 reasons are: Budapest is a very exciting city; it has its unique vibe. It is a beautiful place with amazing nightlife. There are really good bars and restaurants as well as clubs. It has amazing food and places to eat What I love about Budapest is that it has so many sights and highlights, yet not many tourists are aware about this. Like London, Paris and Amsterdam, for example, which attract so many tourists but Budapest is just as nice. Kristy Netherlands I love and enjoy traveling so much. My first visit to Budapest was in May 2014 and I already fell in love with that city. It's truly romantic, especially in the evening. The local people can speak English and are very nice and hospitable to tourists like me. Budapest offers delicious food as well, like lecso, goulash soup, krémes, csirke, jokai soup and sausage, to name a few. The public transportation is so easy to learn and not expensive. I will surely keep coming back to this lovely city. Rachelle Philippines 4
