KID S CAMP SUPERVISED ACTIVITIES Available for children staying in the hotel. Photo Scavenger Hunt - Ages: 6-13 - $30/child Children will have the opportunity to explore every nook and cranny of the hotel. Discover clues that have been left along the way! Activity Centre Time - Ages: 5-13 - Complimentary Children will play a variety of fun and exciting games with our team and other children. Children under 5 are welcome to attend accompanied by a parent. Campfire & Games Night - Ages: 6-13 - $30/child Children will head outside to enjoy a marshmallow alongside the campfire while singing songs and telling stories! Johnston Canyon Icefalls - $65/adult, $30/child 8-12 Marvel at stilled waterfalls and dazzling pillars of blue and explore the surprising magic of this winter wonderland. Our day begins with a 30 minute drive to the trailhead located on the scenic Bow Valley Parkway. After donning special ice cleats, we journey up the lower canyon on numerous suspended catwalks. Transportation and ice cleats included. Cross Country Ski Lessons- $49/adult, $25/child 8-12 Imagine yourself skiing along a quiet trail surrounded by mountains blanketed in snow and ice. Before you hit the trails take a lesson to fine tune your skiing abilities. These lessons can be tailored to those who have never been on cross-country skis or to advanced skiers seeking to improve their technique. Ski rentals are not included but are available to rent at Chateau Mountain Sports Rental Store in the hotel. Powderfest Snowshoeing - $65/adult, $30/child 8-12 Whether it is your first time, or you are a seasoned vet, this area is perfect for trying snowshoeing, an ancient and efficient mode of travel. If you can walk, you can snowshoe! After your guide provides you with your gear and a brief introduction to the history, we will venture into the forest and look for signs of creatures that have adapted to the harsh winter conditions. Snowshoes included. Traditional Snowshoe - Complimentary Join a member of our Resort Activities team at the Nordic Stop for a brief introduction to our beautiful traditional wooden snowshoes. If you can walk...you can snowshoe! Try on a pair for a quick photo or go along the lake for a short stroll. For the more adventurous, grab a map and some poles and head out on one the well marked snowshoe trails.
