Chicken Bridge not a quick job, but in process Rutts in the grass by The Chapel & The Puddle 140 /16 Lake District National Park Representative Cath Johnson sent her apologies and sent an update: Public Rights of Way We have now been joined at the Northern Office by six new Field Rangers to support the Routes to Resilience project supported by the 3 million from Rural Payments Agency (RPA) towards the repair of flood damaged Public Rights of Way network. This will ensure that whilst we are repairing bridges and paths damaged in the 2015 floods we can catch up with the backlog of other public rights of way work in the area. 34
The repair of the Hallgarth bridleway has been completed by O Malley s, who did a great job. At the Above Derwent Parish Council meeting on 15 February I will be able to provide an update on the flood recovery work to be delivered in the parish over the next few months ADPC thank LDNPA for the works at Hallgarth. The improvements to the path through to Hope Camp would be appreciated, although not for it to be a cycleway. 141 /16 Ward Representatives Cumbria County Council Alan Bowness restructure taken place at CCC highways. Monies for ADFG and toward defibrillator have been approved. Alan asked for an update on the gully cleaning not all have been cleaned. Allerdale Borough Council - Adrian Davis Johnston Adrian sent his apologies Lake District National Park - Geoff Davies There was no written report from GLD. GLD has been reelected as the Chair of the Rights of Way committee. 142 /16 Consultations/Projects requiring action or decision 142.1 Funding potentially available to ADPC MT to work with CALC regarding funding available to parish councils 142.2 Update on the Above Derwent Community Website it was agreed to place a frontpage item with the link for the new website, to advertise the minutes, and a new front page will need to be placed from 01.04.2017 with a link to the new website. The signature on the clerk s emails to be changed to reflect the new website. The clerk to contact the website company to enquire about the results of future searches for the parish council website. 142.3 Public consultation Allerdale Libraries PB responded stating reduced hours would be a shame and suggested other sources of funding. 142.4 Nuclear site decommissioning and clean up consultation the consultation was an informal consultation, which will lead to a formal consultation soon. 142.5 ABC Grant Keeping our community safe in winter and keeping our community safe It was agreed for the to contact CCC regarding speed reducing schemes, ABC to request when the money needs to be spent by. To place on the next agenda for further discussion, KH / GD / RK to research. 142.6 Milestone Restoration it was agreed for the clerk to respond thanking Mr Moore for his offer and request he contacts DT. 142.7 CCC budget consultation No comments 142.8 Blackwood Fam woodland management plan PB left the room for this item.
