The Marina-team is at your service, also after sunset AND YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN HERE? We are a 550 berth marina, located about 15 kilometres from Amsterdam. If you are looking for an all-round, pleasant and active marina, facilitating you with all services, we are yours. We are a complete and comfortable marina, 7 days a week, all year around. Our level of service is rare to find. Our motto: relax and enjoy, we take care of the rest! We know how important boating is. While sailing, or staying on our waterfront, you can recuperate from all daily worries. If you want to stay at the marina, feel free to use the BBQ or enjoy breakfast at one of our picnic tables, located on our lawns. Visit restaurants in Monnickendam for a bite. Kids are most welcome. Our children playground is a true Walhalla for the little ones. For the older ones we have trampolines, a table tennis table and various other games. Marina Monnickendam is non tidal and open 24 hours a day for sailing- as well as motor yachts. One does not have to worry about locks and bridges. Passing the Gouwzee you can simply continue to the Markermeer and adjacent waters. There are many small historic towns along the coast, including Monnickendam herself. Villages and towns with welcoming harbours. They are either former or still active fishing villages, or harbours where the East Indian fleet was fitted out during the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. WE FACILITATE SAILING, THAT IS WHAT WE DO. Different descriptions of the word facilities are used in watersports. We do not do pride and joy, we choose functionality! We facilitate sailing, that is what we do. Day and night. The shop sells materials for small repairs and has a small assortment of accessories. Small maintenance will be organized on demand and under supervision. The marina is closed for public. Free parking can be found next to the entry of the marina. We care for hygiene a lot. The marina is clean. Our children had a great time at the playground and on the trampoline Wet or shine, the picturesque centre of Monnickendam is within walking distance. Use one of the rowingboats or rentalbikes and discover the charmes of the city of Monnickendam. You have got a direct entry to the Markermeer from the marina. Marina Monnickendam is an excellent location from where you can stand out to the Waddenzee or Noordzee. When the weather is terrible you can pay a visit to Amsterdam, it is only a fifteen-minute drive to the centre of this big city. The choice is yours. Marina Monnickendam welcomes you!

SURROUNDINGS MONNICKENDAM A lovely relaxed atmosphere Monnickendam is more than just a cosy little town. The surroundings are worth checking out. Beautiful nature in the so-called Waterland with its small villagecentres, cycle-paths and nice water routes. Marina Monnickendam is an excellent location from where you can stand out to visit villages like Volendam, Edam, Marken, De Rijp, De Beemster and Purmerend. Whilst Amsterdam is only 15 kilometres away.

HOW TO REACH US? THIS IS HOW WE CAN BE REACHED BY BOAT: Cruise the Gouwzee, coming from the Markermeer. At the crossing (GZ17 M02) Marken / Monnickendam starboard the helm and follow the channel ( for ships deaper than 1.50 metres ) to Monnickendam. When arrived at the bow M014 you will find Marina Monnickendam on starboard side. The pierto announce your arrival is directly at the harbour-entrance. If there are things unclear please let us know, we can be reached by mariphone channel 31 or by phone +31(0)299-652595. THIS IS HOW WE CAN BE REACHED BY CAR: Coming from Amsterdam, follow the N247. Take the exit at Monnickendam Noord, then take the first road to the left before the locks. Coming from Hoorn, follow the N247. Take the exit at Monnickendam Noord, then take the first road to the left before the locks. You are now entering the harbour, follow the road to the end. Here you will find Marina Monnickendam s harbour office.
