1. TOTAL TRAFFIC 32 Last 13 months average daily traffic 31 Average daily traffic for last 5 Years 3 29 28 26 27 24 25 22 2 23 18 16 23857 2149 2171 2273 23597 26193 27667 29654 34 29743 29899 27556 23797 21 29 21 211 212 213 In November 213, the traffic decreased by.3% compared to November 212. This decline is entirely due to the extra Saturday in November 213 compared to 212; on a like for like basis, the growth is.6%, which is in line with the monthly growth trend seen since August 213. Traffic in November 213 continued to follow the 212 levels. 254 25 246 242 238 Average daily traffic in November for last 5 Years 7-Year Forecast update (Sep 213) 24298 (H) 2413 (B) 23713 (L). -.5% -1. -1.5% -2. -2.5% -3. -2.1% -2.6% -2.8% 12 months rolling traffic trend -2.6% -2.8% -2.6% -2.4% -2.4% -2.3% -2.2% -1.8% -1.6% -1.4% 234-3.5% 23 24414 2512 24756 23857 23797 29 21 211 212 213 November traffic finished at the lower end of the forecast (L). As explained above, an extra Saturday at the end of the month kept the daily traffic level below the baseline forecast. Without the Saturday effect, the daily traffic would be in line with the baseline forecast (B). Dealing with the market segments, Low-cost growth accelerated from circa 3% during the past three months to 5.2% in November. All other market segments declined compared with November 212. Charter traffic continued to suffer from the downturn in Egypt and was down 6.1%. All-cargo decreased significantly by 6% while the traditional scheduled carriers and business aviation were down 1.2% and.6% respectively. This graph shows the variation in average daily traffic for the last 12-month period relative to that for the 12-month period before. The average daily traffic from December 212 to November 213 decreased by 1.4% relative to that from December 211 to November 212. As far as the details per States are concerned, Turkey remained the main contributor to the network adding more than 2 daily flights (excluding overflights) in November; followed by Canary Islands, UK, Netherlands and Morocco. At the other end of the scale, France, Germany, Italy and Finland saw fewer flights. In November 213, five of the top 1 airports had less traffic compared to November 212. The largest traffic increases were at Istanbul Sabiha (+3.4 %), Las Palmas (+13.2%) and Istanbul Ataturk (+1) airports. The largest decreases in traffic were at Lyon Saint Exupery (-7.1 %), Budapest (-7%) and Prague (-6.4%) airports. Three of the top 1 air operators had less traffic compared to November 212: Lufthansa (-9.5%), Air France (-6.9%) and S.A.S (-2.8 %). The operators with the highest traffic growth were Ukraine International (+67.2%), German Wings (+6.8%), Aegean Airlines (+25.3%), Vueling Airlines SA (+21.9%), Pegasus Airlines (+21.3%), Turkish Airlines (+2.8%), Wizz Air (+2.3%), Air Europa (+19.1%) and Qatar Airways Comp (+18.3%). Air Nostrum (-19.4%) and Iberia (-15.8%) recorded the highest decrease compared to November 212. The increase of Ukraine International flights by 67.2% is due to changes in fleet size and route network following the cessation of operations of Aerosvit. The transfer of certain Lufthansa flights to German Wings is the reason behind the variations seen in these two carriers. Air Nostrum (-19.4%) decrease in due to airline consolidation and restructuring. Pegasus saw an increase in flights of (+21.3%) following an increase in fleet size when compared to November 212. NM Network Operations Report Analysis November 213 3

Traffic increased in November at Lisbon, Casablanca, Canarias, Istanbul, Bucuresti and Vilnius ACCs and the traffic decreased in Athens, Tampere, Ljubljana and Tirana ACCs. The decrease in Munich and the increase in Karlsruhe ACC is a consequence of the airspace transfer between these ACCs (VOLMUK project). NM Network Operations Report Analysis November 213 4

6. ALL AIR TRANSPORT DELAYS (Source: CODA) This section presents the all air transport delay situation as seen from the airlines by using the data collected by Central Office for Delay Analysis (CODA) from the airlines. Data coverage is 61% of the commercial flights in the ECAC region for October 213. ATFM delays reported by airlines may be lower than the NM calculated ATFM delays due to difference in methods: ATFM delays of NM are the (flight) planned delays ; the airlines report the actual experienced ATFM delay on departure. For instance, a flight with an ATFM delay may also have a handling delay absorbed within the ATFM delay. For the airline, a part of this delay is the ATFM delay and the rest is the handling delay. Within all air transport delays, en-route ATFM delays were.4 minutes/flight in October 213. Primary delays counted for 55% (or 4.9 min/flt ) of which.4 min/flt was attributed to en-route ATFM delays, with reactionary delays representing the remaining share of 45% at (4. min/flt). 8.2. DISRUPTIONS Technical Incidents Brest ACC - Nantes TMA experienced radar problems during November causing approximately 5, mins of delay. Thursday 21 November: London/Heathrow - an aircraft evacuation on the runway resulted in air holding. Delay impact was masked by regulations due to strong winds on that day. Industrial relations Wednesday 6 November: Greece - industrial action caused minimal disruption (623 mins). Tuesday 26 November: France - industrial action by ATC personnel caused 4, mins of delay. Volcanic: Mount Etna eruption Monday 11 November: Catania Airport impacted due to eruption (483 mins). Saturday 23 November: Brindisi ACC - eruption at 93UTC with pilot reports of ash in the Kerkira (Corfu) area up to FL4 during the afternoon. 9.
