Insights of Partnership Student Recruitments Dates: April 2009 December 2010 During student recruitments for Exchange Programs and Membership, AIESEC at Free University of Tbilisi conducts the presentations and sessions in over 13 universities in Tbilisi. After several selection stages, the top talents of the universities are gathered at Free University of Tbilisi for the further development in the organization. These processes promote Free University of Tbilisi as the place of talented people who are interested in world issues, leadership and management. During last term AIESEC at Free University of Tbilisi has launched four main recruitment projects: Fall Recruitment 11 Students Involved: As it is on going recruitment, based on research we expect over 300. Selected: 45 (projected) Summer Recruitment 11 Students Involved: 136 Selected: 48 Winter Recruitment 11 Students Involved: Relatively 90 Selected: 25 *Note: Further details about Students and Universities Network are provided below in the document. International Congress 2011, Kenya Dates: August, 2011 From August 20th - August 29th, over 500 young leaders from over 107 countries and territories, along with senior management of over 50 companies converged in Nairobi for Kenya s largest international congregation of young people the AIESEC International Congress 2011, Kenya. The event will attracted over 3,000 virtual participants in this one-of-a-kind celebration of youth leadership and diversity. For 62 years now, this annual summit has been bringing together young leaders, global business houses, organizations and individuals from different parts of the world. AIESEC at Free University has been successfully presented at the congress as one of the good performer LCs of Central and Eastern Europe. Ureki National Meeting, Georgia Dates: July, 2011 The General Assembly of AIESEC in Georgia has successfully ratified the new National Constitution and Compendium; these documents align all internal and external processes and regulations of the organization including President Elections regulations and Membership Management. There have been over 50 amendments taken by the General Assembly in both documents. Also, Batumi representation has officially joined the AIESEC network and became full member Local Committee of AIESEC in Georgia within full confidence of Member Committee and AIESEC in Georgia AIESEC at Free University of Tbilisi 2
AIESEC Free University members. Education Week 2011, Georgia Dates: June, 2011 Exchange (Internship abroad) is the most intense learning experience that we offer and links together our global network. Before the students match with programs abroad, they participate in Education Week (which counts almost a month in actual duration), following topics were covered with active training sessions: Open Worldview, Connect with AIESEC, Personal Discovery, Youth Leadership: Introduction to Leadership and Management, Youth Leadership: Indicators, Roles and Characteristics, Introduction to Planning, Personal Planning, Organizational Planning, Time Management and Project Management. National Leadership Seminar, Poland Date: June, 2011 National Leadership Seminar (NLS) is one of the leadership oriented conferences in AIESEC Poland. This conference is basically for a newly selected leadership positions where new recruits of AIESEC boards are given a platform to connect themselves to this organization. Two members of AIESEC Free University have attended the conference: Salome Dadiani and Sofio Gachechiladze. Exchange Alumni Recognition Day 11 Dates: May, 2011 AIESEC at Free University has recognized over 80 students for successful participation in AIESEC Exchange Programs by giving the Exchange Alumni Certificates. 4 students have been re-integrated to AIESEC at Free University of Tbilisi membership. ATEMCO 2011, Turkey Dates: April, 2011 ATEMCO is the biggest National Conference in Turkey which brings newly recruited members, AIESEC in Georgia AIESEC at Free University of Tbilisi 3
experienced members, Exchange Participants and members of Executive Boards of AIESEC. Two AIESEC Free University members Ana Jejelava and Ucha Iakobidze have successfully participated in the conference. Popularizing Free University brand online Dates: Year 2011 During year 2011 AIESEC has intentionally increased attention to social networks national wide in Georgia. We have targeted audience on over all social channels online which cover Universities, Organizations and Students. Also continuously including Free University name in our e-newsletters sent to over 60,000 AIESEC members globally.
