TOUR PROGRAM Day 1: - April 12 th - Arrival at Port Blair in the morning by flight/ship and transfer to hotel. After lunch, start for a half-day tour of places in & around Port Blair (City Tour) - covering the famous Cellular Jail, Anthropological Museum, Fisheries (Marine) Museum and the Cottage Industries Emporium (Sagarika) - for shopping & souvenirs In the evening, attend the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail - where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive. Day 2: - April 13 th - After breakfast, visit Ross Island - from where the Britishers' governed the entire A&N islands, prior to India s Independence. This island is an ideal destination for nature walk amidst sylvan surroundings with deers, peacocks, exotic birds, etc. Then, start for a excursion to North Bay Island (Coral Island) to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fishes and other marine life. The glass bottom boat ride helps one to take a closer look at the vast coral colonies. Then proceed for a leisurely cruise (Harbour Cruise) in a steamer along the Port Blair Harbour - which takes one to Viper Island. The gallows atop a hillock here is sight to watch.

Snorkelling is leisure water sports in which a person swims on the surface of water wearing the face mask and view in the underwater corals. Return from Havelock Island in the evening and transfer to hotel in Port Blair.

Day 5 16 th April Visit rare Limestone Caves. Early morning departure by NAC Sumo/Bus on sharing basis from Port Blair for Baratang - about 110 kms by road from Port Blair. Baratang provides an ideal place for the eco-friendly tourist seeking the solitude of virgin nature. The land route from Port Blair (4.5 hours drive by Car) involves crossing of creeks and dense tropical rain forests. Visit rare Mud Volcanoes and Limestone Caves. Then, departure by NAC Sumo/Bus on sharing basis from Baratang for Port Blair (110 kms). The journey by Car, again through dense forests, takes around 4.5 hours to reach Port Blair in the evening. Trip to Parrot Island is not possible due to shortage of time..
Day 6: April 17 th - After breakfast, visit Chatham Saw Mill (one of the oldest & largest in Asia), and Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika) Monday closed. Transfer to Airport/Harbour for return flight/voyage.
