Introduction This summary shows the main routes on which journeys are disrupted or amended for the dates shown above. Alterations may affect other areas and passengers are advised to check journey times with National Rail Enquiries before travelling, via 08457 48 49 50 or www.nationalrail.co.uk. Replacement buses are unable to carry bicycles or non-folding prams, and may depart early to maintain connections. For further information regarding Cross-London Connections go to www.tfl.gov.uk. Advance Notice: Watford Junction On one further weekend in August the main line will be closed at Watford Junction, affecting trains between London Euston and Milton Keynes/Northampton/West Midlands/North Wales/North West England/Scotland, also between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction/Milton Keynes. This will involve services operated by London Midland, Virgin Trains and Southern Railway; also the Anglo-Scottish Sleeper services operated by ScotRail. Some services will be cancelled or diverted, and others will be replaced by bus or London Underground connections. For some journeys ticket will be accepted on alternative routes. Passengers travelling during the affected period must check journey times in advance. Full details can be obtained from the individual train operators, or from the National Rail website at: www.nationalrail.co.uk/watford. The period to which this applies is: 0400 on Saturday 23 rd August to 0500 on Tuesday 26 th August
