WHAT: CARRIERS: GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING REDUCED FARES Fares named in Section 8 of this Manual may be used for the sale of transportation at points in Canada, as well as Buffalo, N.Y. & Detroit, MI, for travel on the routes of the Participating Carriers named herein. NOTE: On the GCTC Vancouver Nanaimo route there will be an additional charge at Vancouver and/or Nanaimo for BC Ferries (the amount of this fee changes seasonally). Fares computed under authority of individual tariffs are shown in dollars and cents and are payable in lawful Canadian currency or its equivalent. G.S.T. will be applied to fares for travel within Canada. Do NOT charge GST to International fares. Reduced fare tickets will be honored on the routes of the following participating carriers only. Greyhound Canada Transportation ULC. SALE DATES: Tickets will be sold daily until further notice (Any minimum Advance Purchase (APEX) will be stated in connection with the individual fare). LOST TICKETS: Lost or Stolen tickets will NOT be replaced, refunded or redeemed. REFUNDS: LIMITS: HOLIDAY BLACKOUT PERIODS: ROUTES: CHANGES IN ROUTING: Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE, but may be upgraded subject to the conditions outlined below. Valid for travel Daily. Travel date must be printed on the ticket, a fee will be charged for any changes. One Way valid 365 days from date of sale. Return valid 365 days from date of sale. Notification will be sent out if any individual excursion is to be blackout for any holidays. Valid for travel on routes of the Participating Carriers ONLY. Fares apply to the direct scheduled route, or a route that does NOT exceed the direct route mileage by more then 20%. Changes in routing are NOT ALLOWED after the ticket has been issued. Exception: Tickets may be reissued to correct errors in the routing of the original ticket. Origin and/or destination may NOT be changed on the reissued ticket. SURCHARGES: Notification will be sent out if any individual Excursion is subject to weekend surcharges. UPGRADE: Although non-refundable, unused or partially used tickets may be upgraded to a full fare ticket upon payment of the difference in fares. The origin and/or destination may NOT change in an upgrade. Upgraded tickets remain NON- REFUNDABLE. Exception: A set of Companion Fare tickets (Full fare ticket & Companion ticket) may be upgraded to a SINGLE full fare ticket at no additional charge. AIR MILES PROGRAM Greyhound Canada Transportation ULC. is a service supplier to the Air Miles loyalty program. Air Miles members will be able to redeem collected Air Miles points for travel on Greyhound. An Air Miles collector can redeem 150 Air Miles and receive a travel voucher, which would entitle the holder to one of the following travel options: 1. Collectors can redeem their voucher for a 40% discount off any regular priced adult fare (one way or return) for travel on any Greyhound route or Interline with the carriers listed below. This voucher is valid only on regular priced tickets. This excludes any promotional or excursion fares or discount fares such as commuter, senior, child, student, etc. Vouchers are valid for one (1) year from date of issue. Vouchers may be redeemed as outlined above at the appropriate fare for that passenger. Redemption of points will be handled directly by Air Miles who will issue a travel voucher redeemable at any GREYHOUND agency. RESTRICTIONS: Tickets issued under the Air Miles Program are non-refundable. Redeemed travel vouchers are to be attached to agent s reports. All travel vouchers will be numbered with the character AM followed by several digits. This number, including the AM, is to be endorsed on the ticket (no dashes, quotations, etc.). Expiry date to be endorsed on the ticket (one way valid for 365 days, return valid for 365 days for regular tickets). Notice of HOLIDAY BLACKOUTS will be issued. Certificates have no cash value.
