Itinerary Day to Day Panoramio.com Pinterest.com Day 1: Transfer to the nearby town of Trogir One of the best preserved old Dalmatian cities will be your host for the first night and will also be the best hint of the week that follows. Day 2: Transfer to Omiš, a coastal city situated on the estuary of the river Cetina to the Adriatic Sea. The road will take you through the canyon of river Cetina and across hillside of the biggest mountain in Dalmatia Biokovo, leading to wellknown touristic center Makarska. Day 3: A day for an island. Brač is the biggest Dalmatian island known worldwide for its specific stone white rock that almost all places on island are built from. Throughout the road you will be exposed to a view across the sea mainland, Split and Biokovo. Dalmatian metropolis, Split, is the place where you will spend the night. Day 4: The ferry will take you from Split to the island of Korčula. Back in the old times the Greeks named this island Korkyra Nigra island is rich with thick Mediterranean wood. You will spend the night in a lovely place of Brna; hotel is situated right next to the sea. Day 5: The second day of Korčula you will visit Korčula city popularly called little Dubrovnik. Korčula has a long maritime tradition and Marco Polo is the most popular sailor originating from there. The old city of Korčula is full of small authentic restaurants that offer rich touristic and gastronomic delights. Day 6: Ferry will take you just across Korčula to Pelješac peninsula. Riding up to the inland you will come to Potomje the most famous wine-growing area of Dingač. Beautiful road with panoramic view will take you through vineyard to the final point on Peninsula small city of Ston that used to be a border of Dubrovnic Republic. Day 7: On your last day you will bike on the road from Ston to Dubrovnik, enjoying the view all the way. You will pass scattered islets called Elafiti and in Trsteno you can visit one of the oldest arboretums in this area. Route Technical Characteristics: Tour Profile: All roads are fully paved and only partially you will come across short gravel sections which aren t technically demanding. We chose the roads with less traffic to drive without having to worry about cars. The only exception is the last day from Ston to Dubrovnik, where the route passes by the only existing road which is also the main local road, so be cautious. Distance: 210 km 500-600 meters climbing Travel Dates: Departures April through June and September through November. Please inquire for departures in July and August.
