Puerto Logistico Aeropuerto Los Cabos is a development of BP RIO Desarrollos de Mexico, in partnership with Kimco Realty (NYSE symbol KIM or www.kimcorealty.com). In mid 2007 40 acres were purchased on both corners of the main entry to the Los Cabos International Airport where the entry intersects with National Highway 1, the main highway thoroughfare that runs between Los Cabos and La Paz, and then further north to California. BP RIO is in the process of developing a first phase of 275,000 square feet of buildings for logistics, commercial warehouse, showroom and flex office uses. The new development will be unique to Los Cabos in that it will be the first of its kind locally and will offer amenities not previously demonstrated in Baja California Sur. These first class buildings, designed by the architectural firm GAA in Irvine, CA, will offer users a highly professional and well maintained environment, ample parking for both cars and shipping trucks, secured shipping yards, dockhigh loading access, a state of the art fire protection system, office space built to suit, and well conceived entry and exit points to maintain efficient flow of incoming and outgoing traffic.

Puerto Logistico Aeropuerto Los Cabos offers all space being constructed for lease, including flexible terms and conditions to meet the needs of the likely diverse clientele. The businesses being targeted for occupancy will likely come from sectors such as: Logistics companies moving product to and from the mainland of Mexico and the US which are serving the burgeoning hospitality industry, Suppliers focused on furnishing the large number of new vacation homes, condos and time shares bi being constructed in the local market, Suppliers to the rapidly growing retail base serving Los Cabos consumers (i.e., Home Depot, Sam s, Costco, Office Max, Mega, Comercial Mexicana, etc.), and The growing number of service businesses evolving within the local economy.
