Rivermeade Design & Rivermeade Signs Rivermeade Design is a wayfinding and sign design consultancy. It is a trading division of Rivermeade Signs Limited a private limited company registered in the UK. Rivermeade Signs has been trading for more than 30 years and specialises in the manufacture and installation of signs for major architectural projects in the UK and for international hotels throughout Europe and the Middle East. Rivermeade employs approximately 50 people split between our head office and factory in London and a second factory in Newcastle upon Tyne. Rivermeade Signs in London is ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 accredited with a scope of activities defined as the design, development, manufacture and installation of internal, external and digital signs for architectural projects and international hotels together with Wayfinding and sign design consultancy services. For many years Rivermeade Signs has been involved in wayfinding and sign design consultancy originally only for hotels but more recently also for architectural projects.the creation of Rivermeade Design as a separate trading division of Rivermeade Signs recognises the increasing importance of our consultancy work. We believe that the close relationship between the consultancy and manufacturing parts of our business benefits our consultancy clients. It enables us to stay firmly grounded in manufacturing reality we will not propose sign designs that cannot be made and it also allows us to monitor costs and budget projections as a continuing part of the design process. When Rivermeade Design is employed as consultants we ask that Rivermeade Signs be included within the list of companies invited to tender for the manufacture and installation of the sign package. Rivermeade Design & Rivermeade Signs The following documents all presented in PDF format would be included within our final scope deliverables: A database generated schedule listing every sign with full dimensions and a detailed written manufacturing specification. A full set of digitally marked up plans showing the proposed location of each sign cross referenced to the schedule. Adobe Illustrator generated colour drawings of each individual sign type detailing typography, layout, materials, colourways and dimensions. Adobe Illustrator generated constructional drawings as required for individual sign types. An Excel spreadsheet with budget costings. A set of sample documentation is attached.

Our project team continued Mark Harrison Managing Director Mark has worked at Rivermeade for the last 25 years formerly as Commercial Director and for the last 15 years as Managing Director having previously worked after graduation in a management role in the sign industry. In addition to his role as Managing Director Mark undertakes wayfinding and sign design consultacy work across all Rivermeade s market areas. Mark has a long track record managing the most demanding and large scale sign projects. Our project team continued Jon Payne Design Manager Jon Graduated in Industrial Design and Technology and for the last 12 years has managed the Rivermeade Design team. Jon is principally involved in preparing artwork and detailed constructional drawings which form an essential stage in the process of turning a two-dimensional design intention into a manufactured object. This process requires an intimate knowledge of sign making materials and manufacturing processes. In addition to project lead work Jon is involved in the continuing development of the Rivermeade product range.
