Dear Camp Parents & Guardians, I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to our summer day camp program and thank you for entrusting your child s care with us this summer. We assure you, we will make every effort to make this a positive experience for you and your child. This summer marks the 14th season for our summer day camp. Last summer, we had over 575 campers in our program, with approximately 285 350 campers attending each day. We thank you for continuing to spread the word about our summer day camp program, and we are thrilled at every camp family who participated in the referral program this year. It is supportive families like you that make our program GREAT! ISC Summer Day Camp is licensed through the Department of Health and Senior Services and receives an annual inspection through the Camden County Health Department. We also receive an inspection through the State of New Jersey, Cherry Hill Fire Department and the Division of Carnival and Amusement Rides. We are dedicated to providing the safest possible environment for your child. We are extremely proud of our staff and are pleased to announce that more than 50% are returning for another summer! Every summer we add many new and exciting plans for our campers. However, this summer is sure to be the sweetest! We have, yet again, revamped our activity calendar that makes every single day FUN and MEMORABLE! As always to keep the summers new and exciting we have added several new games, activities and elective choices, special guests, weekly programs and field trips. We have purchased many new pieces of equipment, such as our new outdoor water slide. We have also purchased new games that we believe are sure to excite our campers. This and every year we have worked diligently to improve our program. We continue to offer a 10% discount on camp tuition to all State of NJ, Active Military, Virtua Health Systems, Cooper Health Systems, Lockheed Martin, PHH Mortgage, Subaru America, and Deborah employees. Each year our Sports and Enrichment Camps grow in popularity. With another record setting year, last year was our biggest year in attendance for both sports and enrichment programs. Our sports programs are held here at ISC Cherry Hill on our outdoor field and will remain FREE to our campers. The sports programs being offered this year are: Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Field Hockey and Lacrosse. Equipment will be required for a few of these sports, and can be found online. The enrichment programs do have additional costs, and we offer a tuition discount for the week, if your child participates in the enrichment programs. The enrichment programs being offered this year are Boxing, Mad Science, Nutrition & Cooking, Bricks 4 Kids Legos and Paint-A-Treasure Art Camp. All information about these programs are included in this packet and updated regularly online, in the event of any additions or changes. Our successful weekly programs are continuing to grow! This year we have expanded our weekly programs to include, a fun and exciting nutrition class, dance and fitness instructors, a restyled art program, a ceramics program, and our artistic roller skating instructors. This is not all, we are always looking and trying new programs throughout the summer to add in the future. Another great part of our camp is our special guest appearances. Every Wednesday our PK & K will enjoy amazing performances right here in our building. We will bring back local favorites such as Mr. Scott the Music Man and the absolutely adorableness of our local traveling petting zoo. The entire camp also gets to experience the fun every Friday. We have found a number of new and energetic performers that are sure to bring our camper audience to life. And who could go through a summer without our testing their knowledge at the famous Brain Wash Game Show Challenge! The mission of ISC Summer Day Camp is to provide a safe and fun environment for all of our campers at all times. An environment where campers will grow and learn how to treat each other with respect, acceptance, kindness and have FUN! At ISC Summer Day Camp, the safety of the campers is our main priority, and we pledge to treat all campers with respect and in a caring manner. All summer day camp personnel are to follow all policies and procedures and must act in a professional manner at all times.
