Fair Haven Camps Facility Use Guidelines 1. Check-In Time is 1pm fr Facility Rentals unless prir arrangements are made. 2. Check-Out Time is as cntracted. 3. Damage r Missing Items: Rental grups will be held respnsible fr expenses incurred fr damage t facilities r equipment r missing items. All damage must be reprted t the Prgram Directr r Facilities Manager. 4. Imprper use f a facility by any grup will be cause fr denial f further use. 5. Tbacc, alchl, and illegal drugs are prhibited in all buildings and grunds at Fair Haven Camps. 6. If yu d nt chse the Optinal Husekeeping Fee: At the cnclusin f the rental perid, the rental grup is respnsible t restre the facility t its riginal cnditin including: mving tables, chairs, equipment, etc. back t riginal lcatins, shut ff all lights, and assuring that all participants and attendees have left the facility. Yur grup will assume janitrial respnsibility f buildings and bathrm facilities included in the rental agreement, including, but nt limited t: pickup and remval f all trash and garbage (which may be put in ur dumpster), sweeping and mpping f dining rm flrs, and cleaning kitchen (if rented used). 7. Use f fireplaces and utdr fire rings are with prir apprval frm the Guest Services Directr. 8. Use f the sund equipment and vide prjectr must be cntracted in advance. 9. Dwnstairs use f the Main Ldge is limited t the bathrms and Janitrial Clset nly. 10. Please bring yur wn sprts equipment: sleds, tubes, basketballs, vlleyballs, ping png paddles, Frisbees, and kick balls, etc. Fair Haven limits use f its sprts equipment t summer prgramming. 11. Waterfrnt activities are Swim at yur wn risk. FHC des nt prvide lifeguards fr rentals except fr use f ur BLOB. 12. Cntracting use f ur BLOB will necessitate the hiring f a minimum f 2 FHC lifeguards at $15 per hur. Payable by check t the cntracted lifeguards. 13. Usage f FHC Canes and Kayaks must be cntracted in advance and all participants must wear lifejackets and maintain prper care f all equipment and put it back in the riginal lcatins. 14. The Riding Ring, Pastures, and Barn are ff-limits at all times unless Riding has been cntracted in advance and is an additinal fee. 15. The Cttage Area is ff-limits unless yu have arranged t rent a cttage during yur stay. 16. During ht weather please prvide yur wn fans fr sleeping areas. 17. Off-seasn we d nt prvide Health Care services. Please bring yur wn Medicine Kit with the prper supplies needed: Ibuprfen, Tylenl, Asprin, Antacids, Antihistamin, Bandaids, etc. If yur grup has underage children/teens please have the necessary Medical Treatment Release Frms if yu will need t seek treatment at a lcal hspital. 18. Office phnes are fr emergency use nly. N lng distance calls permitted. 19. The Internet is passwrd prtected and will be limited by the Executive Directr. 20. Rental grups will mnitr all areas f a facility t assure that all attendees are adhering t these regulatins. 21. Pet Plicy: Must have prir apprval. Yur pet must nt be an aggressive breed, at least 1 year ld and up-t-date n all vaccinatins. All pets must be leashed at all times. Guests are respnsible fr cleaning up any/all pet refuse. Any evidence f pets causing damage t premises r nn-cmpliance f cleaning up after pets, will result in extra charges being assessed. Pets are NOT ALLOWED in the main Kitchen at any time. 22. Cancellatin Plicy: We require yu t ntify us at least tw weeks prir t yur scheduled arrival if yu are unable t fulfill yur reservatin. Payments will be refunded less the $100 dllar depsit. Guest and Grup Infrmatin We are excited that yu have chsen Fair Haven Camps as the place t hst yur event r fr a family get away. Main Offices: Our main ffice is lcated n the grund flr f the main ldge. The entrance is lcated Lakeside under the deck r yu can access that level using the stairs lcated in the ldge. Off-seasn Office hurs are 10-4pm. Any lst and fund items that are cllected by the staff will be brught t the ffice. Please reprt damage r malfunctining equipment t the ffice. Please reprt all accidents t the ffice. If any emergency ccurs after hurs, 911 can be called by cell phne. Be sure t relay camp s full name and address (Fair Haven Camps 81 West Fairhaven Lane, Brks) and t send smene t the ldge area t direct emergency persnnel when they arrive. Cttages: All cttages are wd heat. Camp prvides wd fr yur use and is stred near the cttages. Laundry facilities are available fr yur use. Please dispse f yur trash in the marked receptacles beside the Laundry Rm Limited bedding and twels are available upn request. All cttages are stcked with basic dishes, pts and pans. Swimming is at yur wn risk. Ldge: The fireplace may be used with adult supervisin. If yu require use f the sund system r vide prjectrs please cntract in advance. The health center is clsed during ff seasn, yu will be respnsible t prvide fr yur wn medicinal and bandaging needs. Grund Flr/ Dwnstairs use f the Ldge is limited t the Bathrms and Janitrial Clset nly. Dining Hall: When renting ur kitchen facilities yur grup will assume full respnsibility fr the cking and cleaning f the Kitchen and Dining Hall. If yu have cntracted FHC t cater yur meals: Cffee, tea and ht chclate are available in the Dining Hall at all times. Meal times will need t be arranged by yur grup in advance. Bathing suits may nt be wrn int the Dining Hall and shes must be wrn. Waterfrnt: Our waterfrnts are pen seasnally. Use f these areas are swim at yur wn risk unless Lifeguards are cntracted thrugh FHC. Use f bats must be cntracted in advance and all participants must wear lifejackets at all times when in a cane r kayak. Gymnasium: Please d nt mve the beds in the bunk area arund. The fireplace may be used with adult supervisin. Children under the age f 18 must be accmpanied by an adult when participating in activities in the Gym. The climbing wall is ff limits unless pened by a qualified FHC staff member. Challenge Curse: The East Haven Challenge Curse (lw and high rpes) are ff limits unless cntracted in advance and run by certified staff. Outdr Campfires: Use f ur utdr campfire areas must be cntracted in advance. Campfires must be extinguished by guests cmpletely upn leaving the campfire area. Quiet Hurs: Quiet hurs are frm 11:00pm t 7:30am. Due t camp staff wh live n site and ther grups wh may be staying in neighbring cttages, please be cnsiderate f these times.

Please lk fr the Sign that ntes yu are entering West Fair Haven Camps. Yu will need t turn nt Pnd Rad frm Rte. 203 befre arriving at West Fair Haven Lane. The directins we have prvided fr yur cnvenience are the easiest rutes t fllw. Frm the Bangr area travel suth n I-95 and take the Carmel-Winterprt exit nt rute 69 in Carmel. Travel east n rute 69 t rute 202 in Newburg. Travel west n rute 202 t rute 7 in Dixmnt. Travel suth n rute 7 t rute 139 (Purple Heart Highway) in Brks. Travel west n rute 139 t rute 203. Turn left at a 3-way intersectin nt rute 203 suth fr apprximately 3 miles. Fair Haven Camps will be lcated n the right. West Haven will be first ¼ mile further n the right is East Haven. Frm the Augusta area travel ut f Augusta heading east n rute 3 t rute 131 in Belmnt.
