Day 1 Monday, July 9: Kyiv Arrive in Kyiv the capital of Ukraine! After a transfer to your hotel in the heart of the city! In the evening have a meal in one of the many local restaurants. Day 2 Tuesday, July 10: Kyiv Explore the old city district, see the new city centre! Afterwards visit The national center of folk culture Ivan Honchar Museum - find the best examples of Ukrainian culture and art. Being here discover ukrainian folk traditions together with Rozhanytsya group. After lunch wander down Andriyivsky Uzviz, where Ukraine's artists live and work. Be amazed by the beauty of St.Sophia cathedral. Spend the rest of this day on your own discretion! Learn how to make kobza and take pottery workshop. In the evening we have a special treat a traditional Ukrainian zabava, where everyone will have a chance to learn some traditional central Ukrainian songs and dances from our special guests! Intrigued? Good Day 4 Thursday, July 12: Kyiv Today you ll have a chance to visit a real spiritual Mecca the Kyiv Lavra Cave Monastery. Afterwards, discover Mamaeva Sloboda Ethnography museum an authentic Kozak village. You ll be treated to a delicious kozak lunch in one of the restaurants on the territory of museum. In the evening we will hop on a train and travel to the capital of Bukovyna Chernitvsi!
Chernivtsi-Kosiv Day 5 Friday, July 13: Chernivtsi Once we arrive in Chernivtsi we will check in at the hotel. Then enjoy excursion around Chernivtsi multicultural city center. Visit local University - the architectural ensemble of the main campus of the university, the Residence of Bukovynian and Dalmatian Metropolitans are included on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In the evening get ready to be amazed by performance of the local ensemble. Their voice will, take your breath away! Day 6 Saturday, July 14: Chernivtsi We re taking you on a time travel today! Not literally, of course, but you ll get to see how the local princes and rulers lived. Visit the fortress of Khotyn and Kamianets Podilsky. We ll learn the city s history on a city tour through the most famous tourist attractions, ancient fortresses. Returning back to Chernivtsi in the evening. We'll stop in the city of Kolomyia and visit the famous Pysanka (Easter egg) museum. Here we will learn how to make our own Pusanka's. After lunch have a look at the Hutsulshchyna Museum - get acquainted with the life of our ancestors. We continue our journey. Upon arrival to Kosiv check in at the hotel and evening at leisure. Day 8 Monday, July 16: Kosiv In the morning have a look at the local art college and partake in the woodcarving workshop. And last but not least we will enjoy the best of traditional Hutsul cuisine at a local restaurant overlooking the river. Chill out on the bank of mountain river. Evening get acquainted with the technique of painting Hutsul icons. Day 9 Tuesday, July 17: Kosiv We will take our time and enjoy the beauty around us. You'll visit the local mini bazaar where you can admire best handmade goods from the area. See how wool blankets (Lizhnyky) are making in the village of Yavoriv. After its end we kindly invite you to become a part of traditional Hutsul wedding - feel the real Carpathian spirit. Returning back to the hotel in the evening. Day 10 Wednesday, July 18: Kosiv Free day. In the evening Zabava in traditional Hutsul style together with local folk band.
Lviv Day 11 Thursday, July 19: Lviv We are leaving picturesque mountains and heading to Lviv on the way we will stop in ancient Halych. The city gave its name to the historic province of Galicia (Halychyna), to the Principality of Halych and to the Kingdom of Galicia Volhynia. Written mention of Halych by Slavic chronicles dates back to 1138. So it's definitely worth a visit. We continue our journey. Upon arrival to the Paris of Ukraine aka Lviv we will check you in at the hotel. Following, brief city orientation. Use the rest of this evening on your own discretion. After its completion, take excursion around city center and learn more about its centuries-old history. Afterwards have a look at the opera House and enjoy the show program. Day 13 Saturday, July 21: Lviv On this day We'll take you on another adventure, on a bus, where you'll get to visit the famous Shevchenkivskiy Hai - open-air museum, where samples of housing from different parts of Ukraine are collected. Being here take part in a music instruments workshop. We will sum up this interesting day with Zabava together with folk band. That's gonna be one for the books! Day 14 Sunday, July 22: Lviv We will transfer you to the airport where, sadly, it s time to go back home or continue on to new exciting destinations.
