The changes incorporated in this addendum shall be considered as a part of the documents and shall supersede, amend, add to, clarify, or subtract from those conditions shown in the original documents. The Bidder shall take care to coordinate modifications herein with all trades and disciplines related to the work. The Bidder shall acknowledge receipt of this addendum on the Bid Form by addendum number and date. Failure to do so may subject Bidder to disqualification. QUESTIONS AND RESPONSES: 1. CIF-001: Is there any existing engineering to be provided as part of this bid? ADDENDUM 1/PAGE 1 OF 3

REQUEST FOR BID for REPLACEMENT OF PASSENGER BOARDING BRIDGES 7 AND 4 at the ORLANDO MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT RFB20190324-01 RESPONSE: There is no existing engineering reports on the existing PBB s. Each Bidder shall include the required engineering as part of their bid. 2. CIF-002: Is the schedule flexible? RESPONSE: Project start date cannot start any earlier than August 1, 2019. It can start later as long as the entire project completes by May 31, 2020. Currently the schedule identifies twenty (20) calendar weeks from NTP. This can be adjusted, but the Airport will need to know prior to bid what duration the project should be adjusted to for listing in a future addendum. 3. CIF-003: Are hurricane anchors required? RESPONSE: Yes, and they must be installed. 4. CIF-004: Are MEP drawings to be signed and sealed? RESPONSE: Yes. This will be a requirement for obtaining a permit from the City. 5. CIF-005: Are we to provide a cost for the permit in our bid? RESPONSE: No. The Airport will cover the cost of the permit. 6. CIF-006: What is the total electrical capacity for the PBB s? RESPONSE: There are two (2) breakers for each PBB. The breaker in the Main Electrical Room has a 50AMP breaker for the bridge. In a separate 480/277 panel labeled PNL A/C JETWAY under the concourse, fed from MDP C is a HD 150 AMP breaker for each A/C unit on the bridge. 7. CIF-007: Are barricades required around the work zone? RESPONSE: Yes. Barricades are required around the entire work zone. They must be low profile with flags and lights. 8. CIF-008: Are there any specific requirements from the airlines for each gate? RESPONSE: Yes. American which uses Gate #7, is mostly CRJ s and ERJ s. They have a standard for an outside conveyor on their PBB. The Melbourne Airport Authority (MAA) will provide a copy of the specification from American in another addendum as soon as it is received. Gate #4 is used by Delta and has no additional requirements. 9. CIF-009: The specifications refer to Gate #2. Is that a typo? RESPONSE: Yes. Specification should refer to Gate 7 and Gate 4. 10. CIF-010: Are nights and weekend work required? RESPONSE: Work can be done during normal business hours (7:00AM to 5:00 PM). Work can be performed at night or on the weekends. A forty-eight (48) hour notice must be given to the MAA prior to any night and weekend work. 11. CIF-011: You said all workers had to be badged. What about deliveries? ADDENDUM 1/PAGE 2 OF 3

Delivery personnel do not require a badge but will require a badged worker who is an Escort to accompany them from the gate and back. The company selected for the project will become a badge sponsor and will be responsible for all workers badged under their contract. Workers who may be on site for only a day or two will not be required to be badged. However, a badged person with escort privileges will be responsible for escorting workers in accordance with the Authorized Signatory Training Handbook found on the Airport s website. 12. CIF-012: What is the power supply breaker size to the PCA units on gate 4/7? RESPONSE: Breaker size is 150AMP. 13. CIF-013: There are ladders on the existing bridges to the roof of the units but the specs do not call out for new ladders. Are new ladders required? RESPONSE: Yes. Provide a new ladder for each bridge. 14. CIF-014: The existing electrical boxes on the building that feed the bridge power are in poor condition. Are they to be replaced as part of this bid? RESPONSE: Yes. Replace the existing electrical boxes on the concourse building that feed both the bridge and the A/C units. New boxes should be a NEMA 4 SS enclosure.
