For example, if you want to move your camper/rv in on July 27 th, you will pay an additional $196 above regular Campground rates. If you bring your unit in on July 29 th you will pay $140. (See schedule below.) These charges are not payable in advance. You must pay upon arrival. You may not enter before July 27 th as there is no holding area provided. We are open the below days from 8:00 a.m. 10:00 p.m. Early Entrance Camping Rates: July 27 $196 July 28 $168 July 29 $140 July 30 $112 July 31 $84 August 1 $56 August 2 $28 The office will not be open to buy admission tickets until Monday, July 29 th from 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. CL-01 2014(2350)

INFORMATION & CAMPING RULES FOR 2019 Failure to comply with the following rules and regulations may result in eviction from the campgrounds. 1. All pre-registered campers must bring their camper by August 8 th at 10:00 p.m. or your spot will be sold! If you call to tell us you will be late, we will try to hold your spot longer. 2. Reselling or subletting a campsite will not be permitted. 3. Each campsite must be registered individually (only one party per application). 4. If a camper leaves his campsite unoccupied, and upon return finds the campsite filled, the returning camper will receive the closest available space. It is wise to park something on your spot if you must leave and are planning on returning. We will not be held responsible. 5. Employees of the Iowa State Fair must pay for their sites. 6. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS OF MONEY PAID FOR CAMPSITES. 7. ADVANCE REGISTRATION ENDS June 15 th, 2019. 8. Non-Registered campers may come to the grounds and stage for a non-registered space starting July 28th, at 6:00 a.m. Daily staging fee is $10.00 per day until Sunday, August 4 th. Campers will NOT need to keep their tow vehicle hooked to their camper. Tow vehicles MUST be hooked to their camper by 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 4 th prior to registration. At 1:00 p.m. the campground will be opened for non-registered campers to enter to locate a camp site. 9. No vehicle may be driven around the Campgrounds after curfew (10:00 p.m.) 10. No excessive noise, which may disturb other campers, will be permitted. 11. No generators may be operated before 7:00 a.m. or after 10:00 p.m. in the west overflow. Generators in the east overflow will be allowed to run 24 hours per day. 12. No drainage water or sewage may be disposed on the surface of the ground. If caught, you will be asked to leave the Campgrounds and will not be permitted to return the following year. THIS INCLUDES GRAY WATER. 13. Violation of any rule may be reason for revocation of all Campgrounds permits, and immediate, on the spot expulsion from the grounds for the remainder of the Fair without refund. Advanced Registration with Water/Sewer/Electric: $496.00* Advanced Registration with Water/Electric: $464.00* Advanced Registration without Electric: $416.00* One Night Basis with Electric: $40.00* One Night Basis without Electric: $35.00* Sewer Hook-up (per day if available) $5.00* Car Parking (In Campground Lot) $10.00* One night basis for tents only $33.00*

14. A one hour PASS will be issued to those individuals wishing to make deliveries to a camper. The time of admission will be written on the PASS. Anyone still in the Campgrounds after the 1 hour time limit, will be assessed a $10.00* fine plus $2.00* for each hour over the time limit. NOTE: This PASS will be checked by the Gate Staff upon exiting the Campgrounds. Visitors who wish to park in the parking lot for more than 1 hour may do so at a cost of $10.00* per day. 15. No bicycles, mopeds or golf carts are allowed by campers in the Campgrounds. 16. No wood fires. No enclosed smoker of any kind. Charcoal fires are the only type permitted. 17. NOTE: Not all lots are 20 foot wide. The length also varies throughout the Campgrounds. This is the only space to which you are entitled. Spots located in the number 1 row or the end spot in a row are not wider. The Campground personnel may place someone in a spot that blocks your view. Having the end spot does not mean that your spot is wider or longer than the assigned spot. 18. The registered camping vehicle assigned to your camping spot is the ONLY vehicle registered to be on your spot for the duration of the Fair. If an alternate camping unit is to be brought in and placed on your camping spot, a camping charge will be assessed for the remaining days of your camping stay. 19. SPECIAL PARKING PERMIT STICKERS allow you to come in and out of the Campground gate. This sticker will be placed on the inside of your windshield instead of the outside. It will have your lot number written on it. If you wish to go home and decide to bring a different vehicle back, the sticker must be placed on the vehicle you are driving back into the Campgrounds. Any vehicle found in the Campgrounds without this car sticker will be towed. The reason we are doing this is that we had many vehicles in the Campgrounds that did not have stickers on them. Many of these vehicles were parked on a camping spot in which they did not belong. 20. Pets must be confined or on a leash 6 feet or less in length. Unattended pets are subject to immediate removal and impoundment. With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed in bathrooms or shower buildings and pet waste must be picked up and properly disposed. Do not attach pet leashes, ropes, chains, clothes lines, etc. to trees or shrubs. 21. A space can only be purchased when you actually enter the campgrounds with your camper. You may not pay for a site and set up a tent to hold the space for a camper which will arrive later. 22. No tents, vehicles, or other means may be used to save non-registered sites for later arrivals. 23. Romax wire can t be used in place of extension cords. Avoid peak cooling times for cooking if possible. 24. The Campgrounds has a booster station that allows constant pressure in the range of 40-60 psi. That amount of pressure may cause damage to plumbing fittings on your camper. The Iowa State Fair strongly advises the use of a pressure regulator for your camper. This is a standard reduction valve available at all camper supply outlets and reduces pressure to 40-45 psi. The Iowa State Fair WILL NOT assume responsibility for damage caused to your camper if you chose not to install this pressure regulator. 25. If there is an electrical outlet available and you plug into two outlets, you must pay an extra $48.00. 26. Anyone caught with a counterfeit car pass will be asked to remove their camper from the campgrounds without a refund and may forfeit their advanced camping designation. 27. All vehicles must have either a 1 hour pass or a car pass when exiting the campgrounds. Failure to do so may result in a $35 camping charge. Thank you for making the Iowa State Fair safe and fun for all. *Prices subject to change. RC107CANARY(1600)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR REGISTERED CAMPERS 1. The Campgrounds will open Saturday July 27 th at 8:00 a.m. for Advance Campers. There will be a $28.00* charge for each night through August 4th. These charges are not payable in advance. You must pay upon arrival (cash or check, or credit cards accepted). You may not enter before July 27 th. No holding area will be provided. Office will not be open until July 29 th from 8:00am to 4:30pm. 2. Campground headquarters is located on top of the hill, north of the campground Dean Ave. entrance. All campsites must be registered there by the Campground Office. Campers who have registered in advance must check in at the Campground Headquarters to pick up proper campsite signs and car identification stickers. 3. Your campsite has been marked by permanent markers, as well as a flag with your name, area, street, and lot on it. Your flag is on the right side of your lot as you stand facing it. If you leave it there it will aid Public Safety in finding you. You may arrange your unit or car in this area to suit your needs, but you must not go over the boundary. Anyone moving flags or taking a lot different than the one on your receipt (unless cleared through the Camping Office) will be asked to leave. 4. Your camping Credential Receipt will need to be displayed in an outward facing window so checkers and Public Safety can see it from the street. This Credential Receipt will have your check-out date on it. 5. Three large, well-lighted, conveniently-located bathhouses provide hot and cold running water and restroom facilities. Two small shower/restrooms and one restroom are scattered through out the Campgrounds. 6. Free Shuttles to and from the Campgrounds (from Fairgrounds proper) are available daily. 7. The Campgrounds shall be policed by the Iowa State Fair Police. Their phone number is 515-262-3931. 8. A grocery store is centrally located for your convenience. 9. All parking must be on your campsite lot. (No parking on side streets.) One vehicle per camping unit, the others must be parked in the parking lot at a cost of $10.00* per day. 10. BEFORE LEAVING, PLEASE FILL IN ALL HOLES THAT YOU HAVE DUG. 11. Advance pay campers who registered before the Fair are already on the computer print-out for a location. Anyone arriving that is not an advance pay person must register on the card given to you at the Gate. This is a great help if you were to receive an emergency call. 12. This year, you must present your Credential Receipt to campground staff at the main camping office as well as the parking assistant in your area before parking on your lot. Only people with a receipt in hand will be admitted into the area. 13. Remember, if you want to park with more ease, try to arrive before Sunday, August 5 th at 1:00 p.m. On that date and time the gate will be open to people other than advance pay campers. Before that date and time, only people with a receipt in hand will be admitted.

14. Any violation of these rules could result in vehicles and campers being towed or loss of a camping spot. 15. Rules Clarification for departure time after the Fair: If your camper is in the Campgrounds after Monday, August 19 th at 7:00 p.m. you will be charged for another night. 16. Do not cut twigs, limbs, or branches from trees without permission of the Campground Superintendent. You may be asked to leave if you do. 17. If you camp longer than 3 days and run a hose to dump your sewer, you will be expected to pay $32. 18. Do not transport people to the Campground parking lot with your vehicle. Use the shuttle that goes from the Campground Office to the Campground parking lot. 19. In order to park in the Campground parking lot, you must have a Special Park permit and you must pay $10.00* per day to park. Please inform your visitors who will be using the Campground parking lot that they must have the Special Park permit and pay $10.00*. Checkout time for the parking lot is 12:00 (Noon). 20. If you have a sewer hook-up, it s required that you use a sewer donut. * Prices subject to change. Thank you for your cooperation. IPR2017
