This Order may be cited as the Traffic Restriction (Temporary Provisions) (St. James, San Fernando, Siparia and Port-of-Spain Children s Carnival Parade of Bands) Order, 2018. 2. This Order shall have effect in (a) St. James, between the hours of 12.00 noon and 7.00 p.m. on Sunday 4th February, 2018; (b) San Fernando, between the hours of 9. 00 a. m. and 6.00 p.m. on Sunday 11th February, 2018; (c) Siparia, between the hours of 1.00 p.m. and 9.00 p.m. on Friday 9th February, 2018; and (d) Port-of-Spain, between the hours of 6.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Saturday 10th February, 2018. PART I ST. JAMES 3. Vehicular traffic and parking are on the Western Main Road, between Roxy Roundabout and George Cabral Street. 4. Vehicular traffic along the Western Main Road (a) proceeding west, shall be diverted south onto Damian Street and onto Mucurapo Road; and (b) proceeding east, shall be diverted north onto George Cabral Street, east onto Kathleen Street, onto Delhi Street and onto Barbados Road. Vehicular traffic proceeding west along Naparima-Mayaro Road, shall turn right onto Church Street. Left turn only 9. Vehicular traffic proceeding west along Navet Road shall turn left onto Bertrand Street. PART III SIPARIA Vehicular traffic 10. Vehicular traffic is on (a) Daisy Voisin (b) Edward (c) San Fernando-Siparia-Erin Road, between Bermudez Trace and La Pastora and (d) Coora Road, between San Fernando-Siparia-Erin Road and Victoria Street.

(1) Motorists entering Siparia from Erin shall proceed in a northerly dierction along the Siparia Old Road from the intersection at San Fernando-Siparia-Erin Road and Siparia Old Road. (2) Motorists approaching Siparia from Erin and proceeding in a north-easterly direction along the San Fernando-Siparia-Erin Road towards San Fernando, shall turn south onto La Pastora Street, east onto Mary Street, east onto Bermudez Trace and east onto the San Fernando-Siparia-Erin Road. (3) Motorists approaching Siparia from San Fernando and proceeding in a south-easterly direction along the San Fernando- Siparia-Erin Road towards Fyzabad or Erin, shall turn north onto Grell Street, onto Gambal Street, and south onto the Siparia Old Road. (4) Motorists entering Siparia from Fyzabad and proceeding in a southerly direction along the Siparia Old Road, shall turn east onto Gambal Street and onto Grell Street. 13 (1) The Erin Taxi Stand is relocated to the southern entrance to the Siparia Market. 16. Vehicular traffic may proceed in a westerly direction only on (a) Keate Street, between Pembroke Street and Chancery Lane; (b) Gordon Street, between Pembroke Street and St. Vincent and (c) Albion Street. 17. Taxis plying for hire shall operate as follows: (a) St. Ann s taxi drivers shall ply for hire on the southern side of Queen Street, between St. Vincent Street and Edward (b) St. James taxi drivers shall ply for hire on the western side of Edward Street, between Independence Square North and Queen (c) Ice House/Broadway/Marine Square taxi drivers shall ply for hire on the northern and southern sides of Independence Square North, between Edward Street and Wrightson Road; (d) San Fernando taxi drivers shall ply for hire on the northern side of South Quay, between Henry Street and Charlotte Street, facing east; (e) Chaguanas taxi drivers shall ply for hire on the northern side of South Quay, between Broadway and Henry Street, facing east; (f) Long Circular/Wrightson Road taxi drivers shall ply for hire on the southern side of Independence Square South, between St. Vincent Street and Wrightson Road, facing west; and (g) Diego Martin/Petit Valley taxi drivers shall ply for hire on the northern side of Independence Square South, between St. Vincent Street and Wrightson Road, facing west. 18. Bands shall assemble on St. Vincent Street in the vicinity of the Treasury Building, then proceed in a southerly direction along St. Vincent Street, turn east onto South Quay, north onto Broadway, continue around the Cipriani Roundabout, turning in a northerly direction onto Frederick Street, then east onto Park Street, north onto Charlotte Street, west onto Queen s Park West, and north onto Frederick Street, entering the Queen s Park Savannah via the Frederick Street entrance. 46 Removal and impounding of vehicles unlawfully parked Chap. 48:50 19. Without prejudice to any other liability incurred by the commission of a summary offence, vehicles found parked in contravention of this Order may be removed by the police and impounded and dealt with in accordance with section 108(1)(b) of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act.
