Box 500, Magnolia, AR 71753, hereby applies to the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission as follows: 1. Applicant proposes to drill a well at a location which is 2,424.92 feet from the West Line and 2,048.39 feet from the North Line (165.51 feet from the East Line of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and 509.85 feet from the South Line of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter), Section 11, Township 15 South, Range 20 West, Columbia County, Arkansas. The well will be drilled to an approximate depth of 5,800 feet to test the Smackover Limestone Formation. The proposed location is within the Stevens Field, as to certain formations, but is not covered by field rules as to the Smackover Limestone Formation. A normal, non-exceptional. location would be at least 280 feet from all lease lines and quarterquarter section lines. 2. If its proposed well is successful, the Applicant intends to apply for field rules for an initial unit which surrounds the proposed well so that the location is at least 280 feet from all unit boundaries, or, in the alternative, the Applicant will request a location exception within such unit, formed by order of the Commission. 3. Applicant's oil and gas leases cover 100% of the working interest in both the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 11. 4. The parties listed on Exhibit "A" are interested in this application.
