Each year, Webb Tours sponsors tours that focus on visits to the LDS temples while enjoying other sites in the region. In September, 2009 we will once again offer our Northwest Temple Tour combined with the beauty of the Canadian Rockies. It is an exciting journey featuring visits to EIGHT temples including Spokane, Columbia River, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Cardston, Rexburg and Twin Falls. In addition, we ll enjoy the stunning beauty of Banff, Yoho and Jasper National Parks, enjoying lunch at Lake Louise, a ride onto the Athabascan Glacier and an unforgettable day on the Icefields Parkway. We hope you can join us. This is a great time to be in the northwest. Temperatures are still pleasant and the crowds are dying down and FALL COLORS are starting to appear in parts of the Rockies. All of the temples have returned from their summer closures and each is expecting our visit. So come and join us for the INSPIRATION and MAJESTY of our Northwest Temple Tour! Daily Itinerary: September 8: Salt Lake to Spokane: Today we ll fly non stop to Spokane arriving in the early afternoon. We ll show you some interesting things in the area before checking into our hotel for an early dinner followed by a session in the Spokane Temple this evening. It will be the first of eight sessions on our tour. D September 9: After breakfast at the hotel, we ll enjoy a 2-3 hour drive into the Richland area where we pick up the mighty Columbia River. Upon arrival, we ll enjoy a deli lunch cruise on the Columbia River with excellent narration along the way. We ll then check into our hotel and change before enjoying a session in the beautiful new Columbia River Temple. B, L September 10: This morning s drive takes us along the Columbia River toward Portland. The scenery becomes dramatic as we approach the awesome Columbia River Gorge. We ll make a stop at the Bonneville Dam and Fish Ladders. From there, it s a short drive to spectacular Multnomah Falls, among the most beautiful in the country. We ll also make a picture stop at Bridal Veil Falls and finally at the famous Vista House with perhaps the best views of the gorge. If you haven t seen this, you will be amazed at the scene. We will make our way into nearby Portland where we ll stay near the temple. After a rest we ll enjoy dinner in the temple prior to our evening session. Nestled deep in the woods of Lake Oswego, this is one of the most beautiful temples in the world. B, D September 11: Today we enjoy a three hour drive into the Seattle area. We ll enjoy lunch at Pike s Marketplace, with its fun shops and restaurants. You ll love the flower markets the fruit & vegetable markets and the colorful atmosphere. After lunch, we ll drive over to the Seattle Temple for an afternoon session followed by dinner in the temple. Our hotel is an hour up the road in Mt. Vernon, Washington. B, D September 12: Today we will cross over the border into Canada (passport required). We ll drive into lovely Vancouver. We ll show you beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park followed by lunch in Old Gastown. We ll then visit one of North America s great urban parks: Stanley Park with it s thick forest and lovely city views. Across the bridge is beautiful Lynn Canyon where you can walk across the 500 foot suspension bridge. We ll enjoy a session in the Vancouver Temple tonight (note: the Vancouver Temple is scheduled to be finished, but it has not been officially announced). B, D. September 13: We are in the beautiful Frasier River Valley with mountain vistas on both sides of a green, fertile valley. By 9:00, we ll arrive at Minter Gardens. You probably haven t seen it. Just

wait. It is smaller than Butchart Gardnes, but no less spectacular. We ll spend an hour there before taking our afternoon drive toward the Rockies. In the late afternoon, we arrive at beautiful Three Valley Chateau which sits on a lovely lake surrounded by mountains on three sides. We ll relax and take in the breathtaking scene (all rooms enjoy views of the lake). The hotel is adjacent to an authentic Ghost Town. A fun barbecue steak and chicken dinner is included in the ghost town tonight. B, D September 14: The next two days offer some of the most spectacular scenery in all of North America. We enter the foothills of the Rockies and enjoy the lovely scenes of Canada s Glacier National Park (not the one in Montana). We ll follow the famous Kicking Horse River over the pass and into Yoho National Park. We ll make a stop at Emerald Lake, Natural Bridge and Moraine Lake. Lunch is at the beautiful Lake Louise Chateau overlooking the most photographed lake in the world. Flanked by the Victoria Glacier and showing off it s lovely turquoise waters, this is one of nature s masterpieces. Our hotel tonight is in nearby Canmore where you ll have a free evening to relax (or go in to Banff and do some shopping). B, L September 15: This morning after breakfast at our hotel, we ll enjoy an excursion into Jasper National Park and the Columbia Ice Fields. The Icefields Parkway is among the world s most scenic drives, with views of mountains and lakes that are among the most dramatic in the world. Our destination is the spectacular Athabasca Glacier, a massive river of ice that continues to inch its way south. We ll board the Snow Coaches and go onto the glacier (one of the few places in the world where you can do this). It is one of nature s most awesome sites. We ll then return to the hotel making different stops on the way back. Dinner is included in Banff. B, D. September 16: This morning we ll travel south to Cardston, arriving at lunchtime. In the early afternoon, we ll visit the Cardston Temple. Built in 1913, this temple is unlike any of the other temples with stunning artwork inside. It was recently refurbished. After our session, we ll drive over to nearby Waterton where you ll enjoy some time to get dinner in this scenic lakeside town. B September 17: The town of Waterton is at the entrance to Waterton Lakes National Park another of the gems in the Canadian Rockies. You ll have time to enjoy the town and scenery this morning. Or take an optional cruise on Waterton Lake. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Our afternoon drive returns us to the US. We ll stay in Helena, Montana tonight. B, D September 18: We continue to make our way home today. Just after lunch, we ll enjoy an afternoon session in the beautiful Rexburg Temple. You ll enjoy some free time to relax this evening. B September 19: On our final day, we ll drive over to Twin Falls and enjoy our last session in this recently opened temple. We ll then return to Salt Lake arriving at about 6:00 PM. We have visited 8 temples and enjoyed some spectacular scenes. B, L Note: If you wish to participate in sessions at the different temples, you will need to bring your own temple clothing. If you bring them in their own case, we will store them under the bus in a separate bin so that it is easy to get to them each time we arrive at one of the temples. Several of these temples (like Spokane and Columbia River) don t have clothing for rent. Also: A passport is required to participate in this tour as all entry into Canada (whether by bus, plane or boat) now requires a passport.

Registration Information: To make a reservation, simply fill out the attached reservation form and send it to us with a deposit of $300 per person. When we receive your deposit, we will mail you a receipt confirming that you are registered for the tour. A letter with instructions, hotel itinerary flight information (if applicable) and luggage tags will be sent 45-60 days prior to departure at which time the balance will be due. You do not need to pay the balance until after you receive that packet. We require final payments in the form of a check. If that is not possible, arrangements can be made to use a credit card. Webb Tours accepts Visa, Mastercard and Discover. Cancellation Penalties We understand that you may need to cancel your trip for whatever reason. If it is 60 days or more before departure, all money will be refunded. If it is within 60 days, we will charge you only what Webb Tours cannot recover. In some cases, we can recover all of it. In others, we cannot. Cruise lines, airlines, hotels and other service providers require funds in advance and have their own rules about what will be refunded once paid. We must follow their guidelines. For airlines, specifically, tickets are generally non refundable when purchased. However, most airlines will allow the value of the canceled tickets to be reused for future travel, though a penalty may be assessed to reuse the tickets. If you have to cancel, Webb Tours will work with other providers to obtain as much refund as possible for our travelers. Our travelers know us to be very fair in this regard. Cancellation Insurance: Cancellation insurance is also available should you be interested. The insurance provider that we us is a company called Travelex. You can learn about them at www.travelexinsurance.com.
