Cons. received complaint from a complainant that her laptop was stolen while she was on the UWI Guild Bus on her way home. She made attempts to recover the laptop by requesting to see the student monitors that was on the bus. That was not successful. She contacted the Mona Police for assistance. Investigations continues. 01622 7/12/2010 4:42 p.m. 7/12/2010 4:30 p.m. Queens Gate Suspicious Motor Vehicle Security Officer reported that a Toyota Alto motor car was intercepted because the alarm on the vehicle was activated and going off incessantly. The driver stated that he was not fully aware of how to disable the alarm. The owners of the vehicle were contacted and they stated that they gave permission to their son UWI Student to drive the vehicle. 01623 3:45 p.m. 3:30 p.m. Senate Car Park Confrontation & Assault Commander received report from a complainant that she was assaulted by a man. She stated that she went to the Commissary at Taylor Hall and the accused called to her, she did not respond and he held onto her and pushed her against a parked van. She also stated that they were in a relationship that went sour. The accused was taken to the Mona Police Post for processing.

It is further reported that the men made good their escape through the Post Office Gate in a Toyota Caldina motor car. The Security Response Team was responded and gave chase. Security Officers at the Post Office Gate closed the barriers, however they were unable to stop the car from leaving as one of the men alighted, allegedly with a gun and opened the barrier thus facilitating the egress of the vehicle. The Mona Police are investigating. 01625 6:25 a.m. 12/8/2010 Mona Bowl Motor Vehicle Break-in Security Officer reported that a Red Mazda Demio motor car that was parked at the Mona Bowl in front of the Tuck Shop was seen with its' rear pivot glass broken. A report was made to the Station Office. 01626 0 12:10 p.m. 12/8/2010 Biotech Parking Lot Unsecured Asset Motor Vehicle Campus Police Officer B. Gentles reported that a Grey Mitsubishi Lancer motor car was seen with its' windows open. The owner was contacted and asked to secure the vehicle. 01627 9/12/2010 8:58 p.m. 12/9/2010 Mona School of Business Larceny from motor vehicle complainant that he parked his Brown Nissan Sunny motor car at the Parking Lot and left. When he returned he found his car open and an empty bottle of colonge and coins amounting to about $100 missing. The Mona Police was notified. 01628 10/12/2010 10:20 a.m. 12/10/2010 Maths Department Simple Larceny complainant that he left his office for a short while without locking the doors with the key. When he returned he realized that his HP laptop was missing. A report was made to the Station Office.

Campus Police Officer reported that a Silver Suzuki Baleno motor car was seen with its' rear left window open. complainant that an accused stole a cellphone. complainant that the accused stole $1950 from her. complainant that her White 1989 Toyota Corolla motor car was stolen from the Main Car Park. The matter was reported to the Campus Security Base. Constable Gentles who is assigned to the area was informed. A search was conducted of the accused person, however the phone was not found. Both perons were taken to the Mona Police Post where Ms. Burton admitted to taking the money. She then handed over the money to complainant and also apologized. A search was conducted of the area and the wider campus, however the vehicle was not found. Investigations continues.
(Period December 12 to 18, 2010) 01637 1 4:55 a.m. 1 4:50 a.m. Gymnasium Mona Bowl Break-in complainant, Proprietor of the Tuck Shop at the Gymnasium that the shop was broken into. When she was about to open the door she discovered that the window and the door leading to the shop were open. A broken key was seen in the lock and another key was seen on the floor. The shop was searched up and money taken by the culprit. The matter was reported to the Mona Police Post. Investigations continues. Source: Sheets

Cons. received report from complainant that when she arrived at the Office at 1:55 p.m. and opened the front door to the building she saw that an iron grill in the front room was dislocated as well as a lattice door and several boxes were ransacked. W/Sgt. of the Mona Police received report from a man that his vehicle was involved in an accident. The scene was visited by Officers from the Mona Police and the complainant was advised to visit the Station and give a report. Nothing was discovered missing. A report was taken from the complainant.
