The Spokesman is a publication of the Highland Indiana Region of the Model A Restorer s Club, Inc., founded in 1964, and is published monthly. A Message from the Director October is upon us. The leaves are beginning to change and the weather is cooling down, making for perfect Model A driving weather. Of course October also means the annual Parade of Homes at the Pullman Museum. I would really encourage everyone to attend. It is safe, interesting and a heck of a lot of fun. If you have never been there you are really missing out of a living piece of history. Not only is there a great car show, band and good food, it is a rare chance to see inside many of the homes built by George Pullman for his employees. A special treat this year is the opening of the National monument Clocktower. October isn t October without the Graveyard Tour. I, for one, can t wait, it is always great! Speaking of great, we just finished our Fall Tour to the Shack. We had a record number of cars attending. I cannot wait to hear the stories at the next meeting. Thanks again for all of the Gills efforts in hosting this event for us.
