Tour Overview Many say that South Africa presents the whole world in one country due to its wide array of landscapes and beauty. This fast-track, but still intensive tour gives you the opportunity to visit most of the countries famous landmarks whilst avoiding a great deal of driving time. Day 1 Arrival in Johannesburg Tour Itinerary Arrival in South Africa, landing in O.R Tambo International Airport where you will be met by your tour guide. You will be taken to a private B&B in Johannesburg where you're free to relax for the rest of the day. Day 2 Explore the Mpumalanga Province After breakfast, you head to Mpumalanga Province to experience an array of natural, historic and cultural attractions. Mpumalanga contains many clues to the origin of the Earth, as well as humankind, boasting the oldest rock formations known to man. You ll visit the Blyde River Canyon which has been formed from the powerful separation of Antarctica and Madagascar in the prehistoric period. You will also visit a few historical landmarks including Pilgrim s Rest and natural wonders such as God s Window. Lunch can be consumed at any of these landmarks. Towards the evening, the tour guide will drive to the B&B in Hazyview to relax for the night.
Day 3 Explore Kruger National Park After breakfast, we will be heading into Kruger National Park. Spreading over 19,000 square kilometers, Kruger park is one of the largest game reserves on the continent. It s land inhabits all of Africa s Big-5 within its impressive 147 species. Lunch will be available in Skukuza rest camp, and then you will return to the B&B in Hazyview to rest. You're welcome to visit the area during the afternoon. Day 4 Second full day at Kruger National Park The second day will focus on visiting a greater terrain of the Kruger National Park in search for the Big 5! You will enter the park through Numbi gate before roaming the area and stopping at Skukuza for lunch. After you ll visit more of the vast terrain towards Lower Sabie and the Crocodile Bridge Gate. After a vast day of travelling you will head towards a new B&B location in Malelane.
Day 5 Drive to Durban Breakfast will be consumed nice and early in preparation for the drive to Durban, which is approximately 970km and takes just under 12-hours to complete. Through this time you will see many amazing landscapes and any attractions/landmarks on the way. Upon arrival to Durban, dinner will be consumed either at the hotel or a nearby restaurant (your choice) before heading back for the night. Day 6 Visit the Botanical gardens After breakfast the guide takes you to the Botanical Garden in Durban Central. These gardens are the oldest surviving botanical garden and public institute in Africa. A city tour of Durban is also available.
Day 7 Visit Crocodile world and the relax at the beach This day is more relaxed. You ll go to visit Crocodile world and then have the opportunity to catch up on some tan at the beach. Day 8 Visit ushaka Marine World This day is dedicated to a relaxing or adrenaline seeking (you choose) visit of the ushaka Marine World which with a wide variety of attractions, offers something for everyone. The tour guide can leave you to spend the day visiting alone with your tours peers.
Day 9 Day dedicated to relaxing at the sunny beach Tourists are able to do whatever they want on this day. It is recommended to enjoy your day on the beach in the sun but if arrangements are made, they tour guide can take you to a particular point of interest. Day 10 Drive to Johannesburg & Depart Depending on the departure time, the guide will adjust the leaving time from Durban to Johannesburg. Also, you will get a last minute shop in the shopping centers of Johannesburg before heading to Johannesburg O.R Tambo International Airport.
Terms & Conditions General Whilst the employees of RSA Tours Limited take every care against such contingencies they cannot be held responsible for, and shall be exempt from any liability for any loss, damage or injury to any person and/or his/her luggage or personal property. No meals during the tour are included in the package and therefore are at own expense. Customers are advised to bring adequate funds for the duration of the tour. Personal funds are required for food and drinks, personal expenses and extra-curricular activities. Quotation & Payment 100% of the payment should be received no more than 7 days after receiving the quotation. Quotations may be subject to change beyond this period. Acceptance of the quotation and making of payment means the customers have familiarized themselves with the terms & conditions and hence agree to them. Insurance & Visa Each client is advised to purchase their own insurance prior to travel. We would advice to take out health or travel insurance. Visa s are given upon arrival. British passport holders are granted a 3 month visa upon arrival to the country. This visa is free of charge. Customers of other passport nationality should research online prior to booking. Late cancellations are subject to charge. Booking & payment procedure Upon acceptance of quotation, customers are expected to complete payment for the tour within 7 days. Payments beyond this period may be subject to quotation changes. Payments should be made to below mentioned account with the customer reference number (CRN) as the payment reference. CRN will be noted on quotation document.
