Minutes of Northwestern CT A s Meeting Tues., April 30, 2013 Terryville, CT Meeting Called to Order at 7:30 pm by President Lori Boutot. Guests: None Secretaries Report: The Minutes of the Mar. meeting were read and accepted. Treasurer s Report: The Report was given and accepted. Membership: 29 paid members. rcheers: None reported Historian: If you have club related pictures, send them on disc to Bob Boutot. Club Videos: We have an extensive library of Ford videos to help you maintain your car. Just sign them out and be sure to return them, so others can benefit as well. Old Business License Plate Toppers - (or medallions) was discussed. Item tabled for now. Club Banner: Came up for discussion again - some new ideas were proposed and the consensus is to have a more colorful logo on a material similar to velvet. This would be more in keeping with other clubs banners. Update on Conn. Legislature: Nick reported that: "Year of Mfg Plates" - no change "Valuation of all motor vehicles" - no change, it got killed in committee. "Antique description from 20 years to 30 years" - uncertain New Business Member of the Month featuring a story about the owner and there cars: This is working very well. So, step up, and volunteer to be featured in our newsletter. Dave Chanko suggested that we could have a speaker to extol the advantages of an electronic ignition. He has seen his demo and recommends that we get him to be a presenter. Tours Tour to Rhinebeck, NY scheduled for Sunday, May 5th.
