PRESIDENT S MESSAGE Thanks to everyone who participated in the spring golf tournament, and to all the volunteers, hole sponsors and participants who did an exceptional job in raising money for this years scholarship fund. We truly had a great time at Memphis National Golf Club on May 14 th The Traffic Club of Memphis was fortunate to have a few celebrities play in the spring tournament songwriter/producer, David Porter and NBA allstar, Penny Hardaway. Penny Hardaway won the long distance driving contest. While describing all the fun we had from the golf outing, I forgot to mention the great Italian food that was served. I can t wait to we do this again in September. Bob Glenn is our golf director, and he did on fantastic job. Let s stand up and give him a big hand for an excellent job. Our June meeting is fast approaching, so make your reservations for the June 12 th luncheon at the tower room, 33 rd floor of the Clark Tower.
