Young fleet, modern fleet Greek owned fleet is one of the youngest in the world Every year a large number of newbuildings are been delivered to Greek management companies Older vessels are been sold and newer vessels are been bought by Greek companies, renewing their fleets These newbuildings are designed to the latest and highest specification in connection to the upcoming environmental regulations Almost all of them are either scrubber fitted or scrubber ready (especially the tankers and container ships) Example: Almi Atlas (article picture on the right) first VLCC in the world with scrubber and TierIII compliance 15
