Christmas Market in Copenhagen Experience the unique atmosphere of Christmas shopping in the heart of the bustling city with its twinkling seasonal lights. Here you can enjoy warm-lit restaurants and cafés and narrow cobbled streets redolent with sugar roasted almonds.
Rosenborg Castle A 300-year-old castle in a leafy parkland in downtown Copenhagen. The shoeboxsized castle was once a royal summer residence. Today, it showcases heritage collections and the Danish Crown Jewels. The King s Garden next to the castle is a peaceful winter oasis where you will find a statue of storyteller Hans Christian Andersen.

BLOX The Danish Architecture Center Opening in 2018 is the new waterside home of the Danish Architecture Centre with design exhibitions and offering guided tours. Named BLOX, the new centre will also be the home of urban design companies and will include a harbour bicycle bridge.
Visit Carlsberg The original site of the Carlsberg Breweries is today home to a visitor s centre where you can learn about the art of brewing beer. In 2019, the visitors centre will relocate to a new Carlsberg Experience Centre at the same location and surrounded by an emerging new urban development, Carlsberg City. The masterplan for the district was awarded top prize at the World Architecture Festival.

Roskilde Cathedral (UNESCO) The final resting place for 39 Danish kings and queens, Roskilde Cathedral is located on the site of a wooden church built by Harald Bluetooth, one of Denmark s first kings. The sepulchral cathedral enjoys UNESCO World Heritage patronage.

Hans Christian Andersen Childhood Home Visit the childhood home of fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen. Here you will find many of the writer s personal belongings. He was the son of a cobbler, so naturally there is also a cobbler s workshop.
Jutland Christiansfeld
Christiansfeld (UNESCO) The 350-year-old Moravian town of Christiansfeld is a UNESCO World Heritage site, originally constructed to a Renaissance masterplan in accordance with the Moravian community s egalitarian principles. The town is especially known for its Christmas honey cakes.

Aarhus Old Town Museum The Old Town open-air urban heritage museum lets you discover 80 original historic buildings including a windmill and watermill relocated from across Denmark. You can visit the individual buildings where. costumed staff bring the rooms to life. And you can tour the museum in a horse-drawn carriage
ARoS Museum of Modern Art The museum is crowned by a rainbow skywalk by artist Olafur Eliasson. Opening in 2020 is a new underground extension with an art installation by James Turrell. The museum is one of Scandinavia s largest and most-visited art museums.
