1. Air fare and ticket Air ticket includes in the package is based on GV2 fare. Minimum 2 persons required to travel together on the entire journey. Extension of stay/deviation is permitted at the end of tour. Passenger must inform in advance for any extension or deviation before ticket issuance, seat are subject to availability. There must be at least 2 persons in the PNR after deviation. Extension of stay/deviation will be at the customer s own expenses and transfer to the airport will not be provided. Air ticket is non-endorsable, non-reroutable, non-rebookable and non-refundable once issued. Name change is strictly not permitted after ticket is issued. In the event GV2 booking class is full, FIT fares will be used and subject to additional fare difference that are required to top up by the customer. 2. Hotels and accommodation In the event hotel is not available, alternative hotel in similar standard will be arranged. When booking triple sharing rooms, please note that the third bed may be a roll-away bed. 3. Travel Insurance and Travel Documents All customers are strongly recommended to purchase their own travel insurance. Customers are responsible to ensure that all travel documents and entry visa are in order prior to departure. Passport must have at least 6 months validity from date of return. West Air and Century Cruises shall not be responsible if you are refused entry or refused boarding without proper travel documents, immigration or any other reason. New ticket issuance will be at the customer s own expenses. 4. Cruise Cabin The cabin category used in the tour fare is based on deluxe cabin with balcony. Fares include accommodations in category confirmed and services from point of embarkation to point of disembarkation. 5. Shore Excursions Optional shore excursions are highly recommended and are not included in the cruise fare. If there is additional time, one or two optional shore excursions may be organized according to sailing conditions. The optional shore excursions include White Emperor City, Ghost City, The Tribe of the three Gorges or the Bamboo Forest. Please make payment on board the cruise. Once purchased, shore excursions are non-refundable. Shore excursions are handled by local ground operators in China, West Air and Century Cruises only acts as their sales agent. West Air and Century Cruises has no control over those shore excursions and may not be held liable or responsible for any changes, omissions or accidents that may occur, or for any unforeseen circumstances that arise. West Air and Century Cruises are not responsible for any injuries or losses sustained while guests are ashore. Portions of the areas operation for Yangtze cruises are undeveloped and isolated. Docking facilities often are floating barges with gangplanks. Climbing steps and walking is sometimes required on shore. Tipping of river guides, local guides, drivers and boatmen (who are not Century Cruises employees) is not included, and while recommended, is only at your discretion.
6. Cruise cancellations and itinerary changes by Century Cruises Every effort is made to adhere to published schedules. However, Century Cruises reserves the right to cancel, advance, postpone, or alter any cruise itinerary or route for any reason, including, but not limited to strikes, lockouts, war, government action, riots, terrorism, weather, flood or other river conditions, river traffic, mechanical difficulties, or for any other reason, at any time, and may, but is not obliged to, substitute another vessel or port of call, and shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever to passengers by reason of such cancellation, advancement, postponement, alteration or substitution. West Air and Century Cruise will be required to refund any portion of the fare or make other compensation when alterations occur. 7. Weather Conditions The itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions, water level, navigation and seasonal conditions. In case of upgrading or maintenance on the Three Gorges Dam ship locks, or if the flow of the river reaches exceed 40,000 cubic meter per second during flood season, our ships will instead embark and disembark at Maoping pier, west of the ship locks in Yichang. Century Cruises will be responsible for the transfer between Maoping and Yichang. As safety goes first, In case of low water level or unpermitted river conditions affect Century Cruises arrival in the homeport of Chongqing, the ships will embark and disembark in Fuling, about one and half hours bus ride to Chongqing. Century Cruises will be responsible for the transfer between Fuling and Chongqing. 8. Medical considerations and Refusal of passage The passenger must ensure that he/she is fit to travel and that his/her conduct will not affect the safety of the flight and vessel or inconvenience other passengers. West Air and Century Cruises shall not be responsibility for the care or welfare of passengers with any physical or mental handicap or disability. Passengers with disabilities requiring any form of assistance must be accompanied by an adult over 21 years of age, who is capable of and will assume total responsibility for providing the assistance required. Any pre-cruise condition which may or will require medical treatment or attention during the cruise must be reported to West Air and Century Cruises in writing when the booking is requested, or if such condition arises after the booking is requested and prior to the boarding date for that guest s cruise, as soon as said condition becomes known. Passengers may need to submit additional documents from a doctor, when deemed appropriate by west Air and Century Cruises. West Air and Century Cruises will not board passengers who will have entered their third trimester of pregnancy by the beginning of their trip. If, in the opinion of the ship s physician or the ship s captain, a passenger is unfit to continue on a Century Cruises sailing, he/she may be discharged at any port at which the ship calls without any liability to Century Cruises. Century Cruises shall not be required to refund any amount paid by said passengers who must be confined to or leave the cruise prematurely for any of the reasons set forth herein, nor shall Century
Cruises be responsible for any and all other expenses incurred by the passenger by reason of leaving the cruise early. Passengers are required to bring sufficient quantities of their own medications and medical supplies for their entire trip throughout China. Passengers with wheelchair might be refused going ashore at certain ports. Each ship s health clinic is run by a local doctor who is an independent contractor, West Air and Century Cruises does not control and is not responsible for the medical services provided. Treatment is accepted at the passenger s own risk. The ships health clinics have limited medical equipment, and not all medical conditions can be treated adequately on the ship. While every effort will be made to arrange for emergency treatment on shore when required, availability of medical care in ports along the river may be limited.
