July 2016 It s hard to believe that the year is half over all ready. I guess the old saying that time fly s by faster as you get older is holding true for me. As the horse season is in full swing, rather you enjoy trail riding, horse shows, etc. I hope everyone has had a safe riding season so far. This little note will be short as I am busy at work preparing for our annual July 4 th Fireworks display at the OSU Newark & COTC Campus. I hope everyone has time to reflect on our Great Nation and why we celebrate the 4 th of July. I hope everyone gets to enjoy the celebration with family and friends and has a chance to just sit back and enjoy the Holiday. Until next time! Charlene Santee Website: Lickingcountyohc. Org/trail.htm and then link to the pages you want to see. This is a temporary situation. Monthly Meetings: Last Monday of each month except on Holidays. Infirmary Mound Park, Granville, 7 pm

Club Treasurer We will be looking for someone to take on the Treasurer s job next year for LCOHC With this advance notice, we are hoping someone will seriously consider the position. If you have any questions about what is involved, please call or e-mail Barbara Stevens, our current Treasurer. We have been using Quicken software program Membership Drive win free membership! to keep track of club finances; you will get any training you may need on this program or if you prefer to use another one, that s OK too. We were entertained by Mother Nature with a wonderfully powerful downpour on Saturday evening. We also enjoyed a Euchre Tournament which was won by the Team of John Boley and Charlie Hall. Riding was great and the potluck the best, as usual. Hocking g Hills ride was well attended with 14 riders. Got a little hot on Saturday but that didn t slow down our intrepid riders. As host, Phil Rauch had games planned that gave everyone a good laugh. Salt Fork was crowded during our ride weekend and we added to it with 8 riders. Potluck, riding, sitting around the fire with friends - what more could you ask for?
