The deadline for this expanded abstract is 20 th November 2006 If the authors did not want to publish an expanded abstract, the organizing committee will put the pre-symposium abstract in the place of expanded abstract. Because such a CD-ROM will be very useful as references to develop a future work in this field, the committee ask the participants to share the time to prepare the expanded abstract. 3) The selected papers will be published by two Journals; Anatomical Science International and Journal of Oral Biosciences. The former journal is for researchers using morphological and anatomical approaches. Cordial message from the editor-in-chief, Prof Yamashina, one of organizers of this symposium. is attached at the end of this Circular. Deadline will be the end of Dcember 2006. The latter journal is a journal for Japanese Association of Oral Biology. The editorial board agreed to publish several papers for the researchers of STENSEN III using the other

methods than morphological procedures, including physiological, biochemical, pharmacological, and also basic approaches for clinical applications. Several papers selected by Organizing Committee will be asked to be published in Journal of Oral Biosciences, the official journal of the Japanese Association for Oral Biology, as a mini-review. Guideline is available at the homepage http://www.dent.niigata-u.ac.jp/physio/shikakiso/indexe.htm Deadline will be the end of December 2006. VI. Entertainment The organizing committee has planned followings. 1) Opening ceremony and Forum for Okazaki Citizens: Following the lecture by Prof Riva, we have high possibility to have a concert during the symposium sponsored by Italian Cultural Institute in Tokyo.
