Reduced Runway Slot Availability at Dubai International Airport 2019 Dubai World Cup Meydan Race Course March 30th The Southern Runway (12R/30L) at Dubai International Airport (OMDB) will be closed for a period of 45 days to facilitate major renovations. This will leave only one operational runway (Northern Runway 12L/30R) which will have an impact on the normal operating capacity of the airport. Frank and team provide above and beyond support to our NY to Paris record flight attempt. This was not the 1st time. Some time ago I stopped at Ross West to pick up emergency supplies and support personnel for a hurricane relief flight. In both cases the support was professional and courteous beyond the call of duty. Ross provides quality services with reasonable fees.
