JEWELS OF VENICE 4 Days / 3 Nights from July 1st to 4th 2019 Eur 900 / per person Monday July 1st Venice Your guide will meet you upon arrival at the Hotel. Check-in, drop off your bags, and happily trot-off to discover Venice. After some free time to rest or for a Neighbourhood orientation, we have organized for you a guided walking tour through the most characteristic and important places of the history of Venice (about 3 hours). An essential tour for the understanding of Venice and its main monuments: Palazzo Ducale, Bell Tower, Clock Tower, Marco Polo s House, Basilica San Marco and its wonderful square. Tuesday July 2nd Murano and Burano Islands Breakfast at the hotel. Then ready to explore the islands of Murano and Burano, the most famous and traditional destinations among the small islands in the Lagoon. The meeting point of this excursion will be nearby St Marco Square. In Murano, known throughout the world for its glassmaking Art, you will visit a Furnace to see glass products being made and have the opportunity to buy a piece of the local production on site. The tour will then continue towards Burano: the island famous for its lace-making and for the brightly-coloured fishermens houses, painted in this way in order to let the fishermen see them from long distance, according to a legend. Lunch in a typical restaurant during the excursion. Return to Venice and free time. Your local assistant will be pleased to suggest you other visits to the city or simply a nice walk to reach places with a stunning view for an aperitif or dinner. 6

Wednesday July 3rd Venice Breakfast at the hotel. Morning free for shopping or relax or to visit other magnificent museums and palaces. In the afternoon a private guided movie itinerary will allow you to see the palaces, squares and streets filmed in the famous movies directed in Venice, the city of the International Film Festival since 1932. Friday July 12th Venice to Florence Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Venice train station and then high train to Florence. Transfer to the hotel by motorcoach to drop the luggage. You will discover the important role that Florence had in the history of architecture and art: Brunelleschi s dome, the Baptistery, the Uffizi Gallery courtyard, the Piazza della Signoria with the Church of Orsanmichele and Ponte Vecchio. Return to the hotel. Dinner in a restaurant with fiorentina steak. Saturday July 13th Florence & San Gimignano, Siena and Chianti Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by coach for a tour of the beautiful region of Tuscany, with San Gimignano, in the Chianti region, and the medieval town of Siena, the main tourist destinations for those who want to live an unforgettable experience full of emotions. San Gimignano, a magnificent example of a Medieval town, included in the UNESCO a World Heritage Site list and famous all around the world for its picturesque towers, will be the first stop of this tour. You will have free time to visit every corner of the town, with its lovely squares, buildings and churches. You will then visit the beautiful area of Classic Chianti and stop at a winery to taste local wines. Free time for lunch (not included). Sunday July 14th Florence & Cinque Terre Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a day dedicated to the discovery of one of the most beautiful and picturesque landscapes in the world. You will take a tour, by train or boat, of the Cinque Terre National Park area, included the UNESCO World Heritage Site list, where the sea and the land blend together to create a unique and evocative landscape. Eighteen kilometres of rocky coast characterised by bays, beaches and deep water, and hiking trails with spectacular views. Free time for lunch during the excursion (not included). Depart Milan on a high-speed train for the town of Domodossola, the last Italian frontier before the Swiss border. Here begins your adventure on the Green train of the Alps! The train takes you on a journey through the Simplon pass, one of the most beautiful crossings in Switzerland. Leaving Milan, you arrive directly at the Cinque Terre and via a scenic route on the coast you reach Manarola.
