Itinerary Day 1 Sightseeing in Hiroshima Meet your guide and other group members at Osaka station in the morning before setting off for Hiroshima. After a lunch of local Hiroshima specials, a specialist guide will show you the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and Atomic bomb dome. A short ferry takes you to Miyajima to see the breathtaking Itsukushima Shrine, a world heritage site in the Seto Inland Sea. You may see a beautiful sunset behind the shrine's torii. Dinner will be a Hiroshima specialty at local restaurant. Return to your hotel while watching the beautifully lit-up Hiroshima Castle. Accommodation: Hotel at Hiroshima Day 2 Sightseeing in Kurashiki We transfer to the town of Kurashiki in Okayama prefecture by bullet Train. Kurashiki is known for its beautiful townscape with white-walled warehouses and Western-style houses. See the canals that run through the picturesque old town, and enjoy the town from a canal boat tour. Kojima, about 30 minutes by car from Kurashiki, is the birthplace of jeans in Japan. Rare denim shops line up, you can also make original denim garments if you wish. The Seto Ohashi ridge connecting the many islands of the Inland Sea and the night view of the Mizushima factory complex are sights worth seeing. Day 3 Lunch in Osaka, Sightseeing in Nara Arrive in Osaka by bullet Train and enjoy local specialties of Osaka, Takoyaki and Kushikatsu. Move to Nara by charter us. Nara, the old capital of Japan 1300 years ago, is full of historical buildings and rich cultural heritage. Visit many national treasures and world heritage sites such as Todaiji, where the world's largest big uddha sits, and Kasuga Taisha Shrine of world heritage. Feel the original landscape of Japan while playing with deer at Nara Park. Return to Osaka again and stay pilgrim-style near a temple. We will have a special cuisine and experience Zen meditation and Handcopying sutra. Accommodation: Pilgrim's lodging near a temple at Osaka Day 4 Sightseeing in Kyoto At the accomodation, you can experience Morning Gongyo which is a uddhist ceremony that reads and worships uddha's wishes. After breakfast, head for Kyoto by charter us. In Kyoto, we first go to Fushimi-Inari Taisha Shrine, where the thousands of consecutive Torii are a spectacular sight. After lunch, enjoy a stroll through downtown Kyoto, starting at the world famous Kiyomizudera temple. Do not forget to try a Matcha Parfait at the famous cafe in Gion. For dinner, we prepare an Ozashiki game with authentic Maiko while eating Kyoto kaiseki cuisine. Accommodation: Hotel at Kyoto
Day 5 Sightseeing in Kyoto Change Kimono of your choice in the morning and experience a tea ceremony. After lunch, sightseeing the golden shining Kinkakuji, let's try to get rid of daily chaos in the rock garden of Ryoanji where you can feel Zen's heart. Drive to Arashiyama by car with the kimono on. There is a path of bamboo forest which is a huge popular spot. In the area where tens of thousands of bamboo grows lively, you can feel the taste of the Heian era by Walking with it relaxedly. Go to Nagoya by bullet Train in the evening and have dinner with Miso cutlet of Nagoya specialty and chicken wings. Accommodation: Hotel at Nagoya. Day 6 Sightseeing in Gifu Get up early in the morning to visit Shirakawago by bus. After having enjoyed local Gifu cuisine, we will visit Shirakawago with a special guide. Declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1995, they are famous for their traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses, some of which are more than 250 years old. Enjoy the original landscape of Japan and the wooden straw-roof houses surrounded by green mountains. In the evening, we will take an express bus to Toyama city in the Hokuriku region. Toyama is the one of the most popular places for the seafood. The freshest sashimi in Japan will break your preconceptions. Accommodation: Hotel at Toyama.
Day 7, Nagano spa town and monkey park Take the Shinkansen from Toyama early in the morning to Nagano station and head to Yudanaka hot spring town. After eating lunch, a short 30 minute hike along the mountain road leads you to the snow monkey park. The adorable sight of monkeys relaxing in the hot spring is an unforgettable moment. Later, return to Shibu Onsen, a spa town, to rest your tired legs in a traditional hot spring inn. There are nine hot spring baths in the town that can be enjoyed for free as well as the inn s own baths. For dinner, you will have a nice Japanese course meal at the inn. Accommodation: Traditional hot spring inn at Nagano Day 8, Camping near Mt, Fuji in Kawaguchiko Head for Kawaguchiko in Yamanashi prefecture by charter us. Stop by the scenery point of Mt. Fuji on the way. Visit one of the most popular scenic points in Japan, where you can view the beautiful five-storied pagle against Mt Fuji in the background. After sunset, we can go on a wild flying squirrel spotting tour. If you are lucky you might see these creatures flying from tree to tree. After returning to the camping facility at the foot of Mount Fuji, you can enjoy camping with luxurious accommodations and comfortable amenities. A delicious Q will be ready for you at the cottage. Day 9, Kawaguchiko to Tokyo You can hike the foothills of Mt. Fuji, experience three-hour hiking near Lake Kawaguchi with a guide, enjoy activities in nature while absorbing fresh air. Have a lunch of local Yamanashi specialty before taking the express us to Tokyo. Once you ve settled into your modern hotel in Shinjuku, the center of Tokyo, its time to explore Tokyo in the evening. We will guide you to the deepest nightspot such as Kabukicho and historical drinking streets. Accommodation: Fashionable hotels at Shinjuku Day 10, Sightseeing in Tokyo A full day to discover Tokyo with various fun spots. Feel free to build your own itinerary as you please.
