This uncharacteristically warm and humid weather has me often question if October is indeed here. But then I just look at the trees slowly changing on campus, and realize that fall is indeed here and I'll soon be regretting being upset at this warm weather. Anyways, I've finally finished the changes to the newsletter. The biggest change you'll find is in the way the events are laid out. All previously mentioned events from newsletters past are shortened and listed as links to the OOS Events Website, where you can find the full descriptions. I hope this condenses everything into something more manageable. If you have any more ideas and suggestions, let me know! Stay Green! -Jason Header photo: Volunteers stand over bags of waste

Don't be! Sign up for the Winter CSA at Enterprise Farm and geta delicious box of East Coast grown vegetables every week, all winter long... delivered to Tufts! Check it out on the Enterprise Farm Website. Need Cardboard boxes? The English Department at Tufts is doing some cleaning and is getting rid of boxes, all in good shape. If anyone has a need for these boxes, please contact Chantal Hardy, or visit the English Department in East Hall. Job Opportunities cleaned up from Carson Beach last Saturday in an event organized by Tufts recycling coordinator Dawn Quirk for International Coastal Clean-up day. OOS News New Agriculture Class is Informave and Fun You may remember a mention of the new student garden in the newsletter a couple weeks ago. Well, coupled with the garden there is a new ExCollege class that focuses on modern alternative in Agriculture. In this class, students have been both learning how to best garden in an urban setting, as well as learn concepts and ideas for more sustainable food systems. Recently there was a piece in the Daily about the class. You can check it out on their website.
