Want over the agenda for Saturday, April 2, 2016. Wants the Legion/ALR/Honor Guard to post the colors. Discussion as to which flags etc to be used. Will be confirmed prior to event. Would be nice if ALR members are wearing their ALR vests to identify us. Need to be at the service area of the Harley Davidson Pig Trail Dealership by 9:15 am. Garry and Dave have stated that it is important that the Legion/ALR have a foot print at this event and to give us a chance to speak. The director of Post 100 in Rogers Arkansas, Pete Sturbleng, was introduced. Had a great showing in Florida, hope for a great one here. Three posts were represented with a total donation of about $1500.00. Would the ALR of Post 341 host a bike ride on March 26, 2016? They want us to take the leadership role in this ride. They will help provide any assistance we may need in the form of people, maps (routes) road guards, waiver forms, wrist bands, etc. Route selected (subjected to change) will be entirely in Arkansas. (Will be posted at later date or given out on day of the ride). After discussion it was decided that we would host the ride and that the ride will be after the 4 th Saturday Breakfast on March 26, 2016, leaving from Post 341
with first bike out at 10:00 am and last bike leaving at 10:30 am. Cost of the ride will be by donation only, separate from the breakfast. Harley Ladies can possibly help with tables etc. Details such as route, colors to post, Police escort, etc. to be worked out at the meeting on March 5, 2016, at 5:00 pm at the post for ALR members. The committee for ScootinAmerica will post to various motorcycle groups websites this event after everything is confirmed. Such as Thunder Road, Christian Bikers, and Combat Vets. The local H.O.G. Chapter will host the April 2, 2016, which we are welcome to be part of. Will have the local news (40/29, newspapers etc.) for coverage of the event.
