Incident Log. 01/14/13 06:57 EB 2/HOLMES, CLEVELAND On Monday, January 14th, 2013, I investigated a non-traffic accident in rural Cleveland, Missouri.

Crime statistics at a glance: 4/7 4/13 4/14 4/20 Robberies 1 0 Residential Burglaries 0 2 Commercial Burglaries 1 1 Vehicle Burglaries 2 15 + 1 attempted Stolen Vehicles 6 (2 recovered) 6 (2 recovered) Notable Cases On Monday, 04-14-14 at approximately 11:22 p.m., Officer Garrett Larsen and Officer Ed Gregorio were dispatched to the El Camino Inn on Mission Street on a report of a domestic disturbance. Officers contacted a female who said there was no disturbance. Officers looked for the male party who was hiding in the bathroom. Officer Larsen saw the male subject had shallow breathing, slurred speech, half closed eyes and had difficulty comprehending verbal commands. The subject was on parole for robbery, with a search and seizure clause. Officers searched his backpack and found a pill bottle with no prescription on it containing two different kinds of pills. The subject had difficulty maintaining his balance, admitting to drinking something at a party earlier, and he became combative with officers. He was placed under arrested for possession of a controlled substance and for being under the influence of a controlled substance. On Tuesday, 04-15-14, Officer Lee Magalong and Officer Tom Prudden were dispatched to the 200 block of Crocker Avenue on a report of a disturbance between a landlord and tenant. The victim was trying to hand the suspect a note regarding a recent eviction process, and the suspect sprayed the victim in the right eye. The 36-year old suspect was arrested for assault with a caustic chemical. On Thursday, 04-17-14 at 7:45 a.m., Officer Dave Pires and Officer Tom Prudden were dispatched to the Town Motel on Geneva Avenue on a report of a woman who was confused and possibly on drugs. The 27-year old victim said she was possibly drugged the night before and had been sexually assaulted. The victim woke up disoriented and realized some of her property including her purse and boots were taken. Officer Prudden used the Find my iphone app and pinpointed it to an address in San Francisco. The hotel clerk provided a name of the subject checked into the room the night before, and the subject s address matched where the phone was pinging. Officers and detectives went to the address, located the victim s property and arrested the 47-year old subject.

On Saturday, 04-19-14 at 11:29 p.m., Officer Taylor Johnson was on patrol in the area of El Dorado Street and Santa Elena Avenue when he saw a vehicle blocking the roadway on Santa Elena Avenue. The officer drove towards the vehicle and noticed a female driver who was staring straight ahead. Officer Johnson got out of his vehicle to talk to the driver and knocked on the window several times to get her attention. The vehicle was running, and the driver had her foot on the brake. The officer was unsuccessful in getting any response from her and opened the door. He tapped on the driver s shoulder, and she slowly turned towards him and continued to stare blankly. Officer Johnson noticed the vehicle began to slowly roll towards his patrol vehicle and he then reached across the steering wheel and put the female s vehicle in park. The driver, a 44- year old Daly City resident, admitted to drinking wine and taking a Percocet for her recent ankle surgery. After Officer Johnson conducted field sobriety tests on the driver, he cited her for driving under the influence of drugs. Robberies There were no robberies during the past week. Residential Burglaries There were two residential burglaries during the past week. On Tuesday, 04-15-14 between 4:50 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., a residence on the 200 block of Hillside Boulevard was burglarized. Entry was made via an open rear second story window. The loss was two laptops. On Sunday, 04-20-14 at 12:34 a.m., Officer Karen Douglas was dispatched to the 400 block of 87 th Street on a report of a burglary to a storage locker. Officer Douglas met with the reporting party in the attached garage area. Officer Keith Mattos also responded and found a male subject inside a storage locker. The subject, a 35-year old Pacifica resident, was subsequently arrested for burglary, receiving stolen property, carrying a concealed butterfly knife, possessing burglary tools, possessing a forged note and also for possession of drug paraphernalia. Commercial Burglaries There was one commercial burglary during the past week. On Tuesday, 04-15-14 at approximately 3:24 a.m., the Moonstar restaurant was the victim of a burglary by an unknown suspect who removed the front glass pane of the front door and took a safe. The suspects are still outstanding. Vehicle Burglaries There were fifteen burglaries and one attempted burglary during the past week. Thirteen occurred in the same area and during the same time frame. Planet Fitness parking lot (rear) a purse containing a wallet, credit cards and sunglasses was taken from behind the driver s seat of a 2014 Lexus IS350. The left rear window was smashed. Occurred on 04-14-14 between 6:50 p.m. and 8:11 pm.

600 block of Cordova Street a case containing a laptop was taken from a 2008 Toyota 4Runner. The method of entry is unknown. Occurred between 8:00 p.m. on 04-14-14 and 7:30 a.m. on 04-15-14. Hampton Inn parking lot unknown property was taken from a 2005 Kia. The window was smashed to gain entry. Occurred between 11:00 p.m. on 04-18-14 and 7:00 a.m. on 04-19-14. 700 block of Templeton Avenue cash was taken from a 2002 Toyota 4Runner. The driver s side window was smashed. Occurred between 10:00 p.m. on 04-19-14 and 6:57 a.m. on 04-19-14. 700 block of Templeton Avenue sunglasses were taken from a 2008 Mazda Tribute. The driver s side window was smashed. Occurred between 9:30 p.m. on 04-19-14 and 6:55 700 block of Templeton Avenue unknown if any property was taken from a 2005 Prius. A window was smashed. Occurred between 6:30 p.m. on 04-19-14 and 7:30 a.m. on 04-20-14. 700 block of Templeton Avenue unknown if any property was taken from a 1989 Toyota Camry. The driver s side window was smashed. Occurred between 12:45 p.m. on 04-19- 14 and 6:57 700 block of Templeton Avenue cash was taken from the glove box of a 1996 Lexus LS400. The driver s side window was smashed. Occurred between 2:00 p.m. on 04-19- 14 and 6:57 700 block of Templeton Avenue a basketball was taken from a 2010 Honda Civic. The driver s side window was smashed. Occurred between 9:00 p.m. on 04-19-14 and 7:00 Templeton Avenue/Roosevelt Street unknown if any property was taken from a 1999 Toyota 4Runner. The passenger window was smashed. Occurred on 04-20-14 between 12:45 a.m. and 6:57 a.m. Templeton Avenue/Allred Lane unknown if any property was taken from a 1994 Honda Accord. The driver s side window was smashed. Occurred on 04-20-14 between midnight and 8:00 a.m. 800 block of Crocker Avenue nothing taken from a 2001 Chrysler 300. The front passenger window was smashed. Occurred between 8:00 p.m. on 04-19-14 and 10:00 800 block of Crocker Avenue a GPS unit was taken from a 2007 Toyota Sienna. The driver s side window was smashed. Occurred between 11:30 p.m. on 04-19-14 and 10:46 800 block of Crocker Avenue sunglasses were taken from a 2008 Honda Civic. The front passenger window was smashed. Occurred between 8:00 p.m. on 04-19-14 and 10:00 Templeton Avenue/Roosevelt Street an attempted burglary only the window was shattered, but entry wasn t made to a 2006 Honda Civic. Occurred on 04-20-14 between 12:45 a.m. and 6:57 a.m. Stolen Vehicles There were six stolen vehicles during the past week. Two of them were recovered. Kentucky Fried Chicken on Geneva Avenue a 2002 Ford Mustang. Occurred on 04-14- 14 between 4:15 p.m. and 4:20 p.m. The victim left the key in the ignition. Unit block of Oceanside Drive a 2000 Honda Accord. Occurred between 7:00 p.m. on 04-14-14 and 4:30 p.m. on 04-15-14.

Occurred between 8:30 p.m. on 04-18-14 and 9:10 a.m. on 04-19-14. Westlake Shopping Center parking lot a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. Occurred on 04-19-14 between 5:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. **Recovered by DCPD on 04-19-14. 700 block of Templeton Avenue a 2000 Honda Accord. Occurred between 9:30 p.m. on 04-19-14 and 7:00 **Recovered by San Francisco P.D. on 04-22-14. Scams/Other Nothing to report. Community Events Inaugural Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic comes to Daly City The inaugural 144-player women s professional golf tournament will be held at the Lake Merced Golf Club between April 21 and 27, marking the first return to the Bay Area by the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) since 2010. Residents should expect an increase in visitors to Daly City throughout the tournament, with the largest crowds expected on Saturday April 26 and Sunday April 27. Due to the limited parking available at the Lake Merced Golf Club, spectators driving to the event will be directed to park at the Colma BART Station, Pacific Plaza and Westlake Park.
