Contact Pierre 0428 853 013 From the Editors: Well another exciting month here in Boorowa nothing has really happened, except that we are drying out after the rain! Karen and I have decided to try and quit smoking which will be a good thing.so if I am unpleasant then that s the reason why or I should say more unpleasant than usual. Do you know that xmas is only 8 weeks away of course you do all of the junk mail is starting to fill the letter boxes offering all sorts of gifts for the grandkids. I can recall some years back where we were being offered deals on Meccano, instamatic and Polaroid cameras, Barbie dolls, books of movie tickets and books like the Guinness book of records, soccer balls and so on. Now it s mobile phones, computers, fit bit watches, star wars lego all of which cost a fair amount. It is also more difficult to buy kids gifts as they all seem to get what they want during the year. So much for waiting for a birthday or xmas to get that special gift. Oh well no doubt we shall be hitting the stores in the near future with a list as long as our arms to keep the masses happy :o) By the way thanks to those members who have provided their email address so that I can send their magazine copies to them electronically. It does make it a lot easier and you get the added advantage of the links to sometimes interesting stories or videos. I also want to raise at our next meeting that we send our sponsors and the other car clubs their copies via email. Other car clubs have moved to email only. This would save us a bit of postage costs and me a bit of time. Angus and Karen. 7
