Fall Supper For the past 7 years, friends, family & neighbors have come together over a delicious meal during one of two sittings. As in past years, we again look to our members and community volunteers to help make this event a success. A sign up sheet has been posted on the club s bulletin board. Take a look and see where & how you can be of assistance. Hermetic Code - MB Legislative Building Tour Have you ever wondered why the MB Legislative Building has sphinxes on the roof? Do you know the true identity of the Golden Boy? Join Dr. Frank Albo, academic inspiration behind The Hermetic Code, for an unforgettable tour of magic, mystery and architectural wonder. When: Tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, October 11 th or Wednesday, October 18 th depending on availability. Cost: $50.00 per person for members or $55.00 for non-members Price includes transportation, tour, and a brief stop at Club Regent Casino for dinner & games. A minimum number of people are required for a private Hermetic Code Tour & bus trip to the casino. If you are interested or would like more information, please see Tammi in the office. Wolves of Manitoba - Wildlife presentation With Daniel Dupont Wolves of Manitoba: A Tale of a Mystifying Species Wolves are frequently thought of as a mysterious animal which we don t fully understand. This presentation aims to shed some light on wolf biology and ecology, especially as it relates to wolves in Manitoba. Along with the presentation, there will be various items to examine such as wolf pelts and skulls, both predator and prey. Daniel Dupont is a wildlife biologist who has studied a variety of species such as caribou, moose and bears in western Canada. His work now focuses mainly on monitoring and research projects relating to wolves and moose in eastern Manitoba.
