ACCESS TO THE PALAIS Located in the heart of the town, the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès can be reached easily on foot or by road. It is fully signposted within the town, and is located near to all amenities, hotels, restaurants and shops. The Bus station allows access, via its level -2, to an unloading bank directly inside the building. The building is accessed by goods lifts MC 6, MC 9, MC 10, MC 11, MC 35, MC 36, MC 37 and MC 38. These goods lifts allow for direct access to the main exhibition, conference and catering areas. Pedestrian access is through the main entrances: Performers Entrance, Exhibition Hall Entrance on La Croisette, Riviera Space Entrance. Signs and safety barriers may be installed. Unless in possession of a waiver, external personnel are not authorized to handle the technical equipment available in the room; it is therefore the responsibility of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès to hire and manage the technical staff. A quotation will be provided for these services. Any specific work: pyrotechnics, working at height, hooking up and lifting, lasers, smoke (when using automation) must comply with the regulations currently in force and form the subject of a project submitted for the approval and control of the security manager.

RECYCLABLE CARPET Use of environmentally-friendly materials Almost 200,000 m² of carpet is used every year at the Palais to cover the traffic paths in the exhibition zone. The carpet used today is transformed and reused to manufacture other polypropylene goods. A recycling chain has been put in place since 2007: dedicated skips waste sorting centre routing to recycling plant. In total, almost 82 tons of carpet were recycled in 2017.
