Capri is an enchanting and picturesque island made of limestone rock. A "paradise of idleness" surrounded by the bluest of seas; the dramatically beautiful, flower-covered Island of Capri has been enchanting visitors for centuries. We will arrange for you to visit some of the most beautiful spots on the island with the tour leader. In the late afternoon around 5:00 PM, we will return to Sorrento where you can relax pool-side and enjoy a cocktail or any number of liveli cafe's in the town centre. Your guide will explain the history of the area and there will be time to stop and enjoy the beautiful towns of Amalfi, Positano, Minori, Vietri... Our tour begins with a guided tour through Ancient Rome including the Imperial Roman Formum and a guided visit of the Collosseum with a local Roman historian who will bring the secrets and the treasures of Rome to life! This will be a fantastic and very fascinating morning. Lunch is include today and we will enjoy a wonderful gourmet lunch in a Roman Trattoria before continuing on our way to Vatican City to visit the Vatican Museum and Galleries and eperience the masterpieces of Greek and Roman ancient art, works of Raphael, Michelangelo and Caravaggio, the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica. Your guide will help you to find anything you are looking for in Rome and because our hotel is so centrally located you are right in the heart of historic Rome and all of the major monuments are minutes away. L Day 8 Tuscany: Siena & San Gimignano Siena,Tuscany,Italy Location 2: San Gimignano,Tuscany,Italy Today we depart Rome on the Autostrada Del Sole "Highway of Sun" north about 2 hours into the Tuscany region known all over the world for its fine food and beautiful landscapes. The first stop is Siena, probably Italy's loveliest medieval city, for a walking tour with a local guide. Siena's heart is Il Campo or Campo's square, where the famous horse race Il Palio takes place two times each summer. The town offer magnificent masterpieces and incredible views. From Siena we will head to San Gimignano. The town is listed as a World Heritage site and fascinates for its medieval look. Its high towers create a unique skyline. In San Gimignano you will enjoy lunch as well as a lovely wine tasting with cheese and salami and you will have free time to here to shop and enjoy the beautiful views all over Tuscany. Overnight in Florence. Day 9 Florence Florence,Tuscany,Italy In the morning, enjoy a walking tour of the city with guide with Accademia. Lorenzo de Medici transformed Florence into the cradle of the Renaissance by attracting the best artists, architects and writers of the time such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Botticelli to whom he commissioned various works.
