PANORAMIC CITY EXCURSION MADRID 3 hours You will see some of the varied faces of Madrid during this extensive panoramic tour of this rapidly expanding city. There are many different styles of architecture to be seen in Madrid s buildings and monuments Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Neoclassic, Romantic and Modern and different socio-economic districts,. such as the Madrid of the artists, students, antiquarians, wealthy and impoverished gypsies.

TOLEDO 8 hours The beautiful city of Toledo is located south of Madrid and was once one of the former capitals of the Spanish Empire. Toledo is such a perfectly preserved medieval city that it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986. It is superbly situated on a high hill and surrounded on three sides by the Tajo River. This ancient town remains much the same as it was centuries ago.

SEGOVIA 8 hours Segovia is Spain at its best, with its twisting alleyways, pedestrian streets and walled city. It has a wealth of monuments, including the Roman aqueduct, which still crosses the city after over 1,000 years and is the largest and best preserved of its kind. The 11 th century fortress and castle, the Alcazar, was the residence of the Christian Kings in medieval times, and was a source of inspiration to Walt Disney.

ESCORIAL AND THE VALLEY OF THE FALLEN 8 hours El Escorial Monastery is said to be one of the architectural wonders of the World. It was built by Juan de Herrera, ordered by King Phillip II of Spain to Commemorate the Spanish Victory at the Battle of San Quintin in 1557. It was designed to be a palace, chapel, library and mausoleum for the royal family. The Valley of the Fallen El Valle de los Caidos is Franco s impressive 1.300 high Commemorative monument erected in memory of the fallen solders of the Spanish Civil War. The Basilica is carved into the granite mountain and has a 150 m imposing cross.

ÁVILA 8 hours Ávila is what everyone imagines when visualing a medieval city. It is located on a vast plain, framed by the Gredos Mountains, and In the best known for its perfectly preserved 14th century walls. The City walls extend over a mile and a a half, with eitght gates and 88 Semicircular towers and battlements.

CASA BURGOS Located at Casa de Campo s. (20 minutes from Castellana Avenue) The unique location of Casa Burgos offers guests breathtaking views of the Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral. This is an incredible historic, in which the outstanding feature is an impressive central cloister surrounded by a series of medieval arches. It has three private dining rooms in the tower and spacious gardens. Versatile enough to cater up to 500 guests, with more intimate gatherings held in the private dining rooms, this is the perfect place for an event. MASÍA DE JOSE LUIS Located at Casa de Campo s Fairground. (20 minutes from Castellana Avenue) In 2003 the restaurant was renovated and now enchants its guests with a wonderful garden which surrounds the whole building. Feel comfortable in the cosy rooms and relax in the breathtaking atmosphere by having one of the wines.
