Chateau Chasse Spleen is described as the leading Moulis estate in Bordeaux. The wine is made up of Cabernet Sauvignon 65%, Mer 30% and Petit Verdot 5%. It is matured in oak barriques for 18 months. One specialist website describes it as opulent, generous and stylish, finely balanced. Eton Vintners, which has it at 75.00 a bottle, write: it is a dark plum colour with intense blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, with a touch of oak on the nose and a hint of liquorice on the finish!
