About the 2013 Fall Meeting CPA s annual Fall Meeting is the premiere business and networking event for the North American Composite panel industry, bringing together more than 150 industry leaders and spouses. Board and Committee meetings, policy discussions, educational sessions and social events round out this three-day industry gathering. WELCOME RECEPTION The Fall Meeting begins with the Welcome Reception on Sunday evening in the Pisces Room on the top floor of the hotel offering a panoramic view of the Inner Harbor. GENERAL SESSIONS & LUNCHEON The Fall Meeting will feature two general sessions and a luncheon with speakers covering issues of significance to the composite panel industry. The Chairman s Reception & Dinner on Monday will include a recognition program of industry leaders. Jacket and tie are suggested for the dinner. BOARD & COMMITTEE MEETINGS Participants are invited to attend all Board and Committee meetings. The Executive Committee meeting is the only closed meeting. RED EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM The Robert E. Dougherty Educational Foundation provides scholarships to students in industry related fields of study. The Foundation is funded by CPA and generous donations from member companies. Please consider adding a $25 donation to the Foundation as part of your Fall Meeting registration. You may also show your support by purchasing tickets for the Annual Champagne Raffle during the Chairman s Dinner on Monday evening. A large selection of restaurants and shops are located within walking distance. The Fall Meeting room rate is $199 (US) single/double per night, plus taxes. Ask for the Composite Panel Association rate when making reservations. The deadline to reserve rooms is September 7, 2013, after which the hotel is not obliged to hold this rate. AIRPORTS / GROUND TRANSPORTATION Baltimore Washington Airport (BWI) is located 10 miles away from the Hyatt. Taxi service is available from the airport for an average fare of $40. Self-parking for overnight guests is $28 per day. Valet parking is $40 plus taxes per day. Rates include in/out privileges. WEATHER AND MEETING ATTIRE Average temperatures in Baltimore during late September may be up to 70 F during the daytime and evening temperatures can drop to the low 60 s. Meeting attire is business casual with the exception of jacket and tie for the Chairman's dinner. SPOUSE AND FAMILY PROGRAM Meeting attendees are encouraged to bring their spouses and families.
