London, Canary Wharf 26 28 September 2008
Dear Consoeurs and Confrères We have the pleasure of inviting you to the 49th International Grand Chapitre de Grand Bretagne which will be held in London s Canary Wharf between 26 and 28 September 2008. The City of London is the leading financial and insurance centre of the modern world but it has its roots many hundreds of years ago. During this fabulous weekend you will be able to taste the culture of both the old world, through dining in Armoury House home of the Honourable Artillery Company since 1537 and the modern, indulging in the luxury of the Four Seasons Hotel in Canary Wharf. The culinary styles and skills in London are very wide, reflecting the international brigade of chefs who make this city their home. We hope that you will take advantage of that in joining us for the weekend. Our Grand Chapitre hotel is modern and known as one of the best business hotels in the world. It sits overlooking the River Thames and near to Canary Wharf s hundreds of shops in an underground mall. London, Canary Wharf, 26 28 September 2008 It is a great pleasure to welcome Karim Henein from the Bailliage of Egypt and Member of Conseil d Administration as our Inducting Officer, representing President Yam Attalah.
