The administration, staff and faculty of AIS have been working tirelessly to ensure that all attendees enjoy another successful conference. We are also pleased and honored to have the internationally-renowned Daniel Pink as our keynote speaker. PARKING On campus parking is reserved for Presenters, Exhibitors, Heads of School and Handicap parking ONLY! Attendee parking is available at either: (Buses requested to park here) Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church ~ OR ~ Frankie Allen Park 2715 Peachtree Rd NE 445 Pharr Road NE Access available off East Wesley Rd & Bolling Rd NE Entrance Bagley Street NE Shuttles will be provided and a walking path to AIS will be outlined. Please look for directional signage. AIS would like to encourage attendees to walk if they are physically capable. On campus parking (see campus map): SAC Parking Lot Reserved for Exhibitors (Parking Pass Required) Upper Back Lot Reserved for Presenters & Handicap parking (Parking Pass Required) Front Lot Reserved for Heads of School & Handicap parking (Parking Pass Required) ASD Lot Presenters & Heads of School overflow parking North Fulton Drive BUS DROP OFF ONLY, NO ATTENDEE PARKING PLEASE Buses will enter the campus via North Fulton Drive (see campus map) and will DROP OFF attendees at North Fulton Drive or via the roundabout in front of the Secondary School building and then will be directed to park at Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church and bus drivers will be shuttled back to campus. CHECK-IN Everyone (Presenters & Attendees) will check-in at the Sports and Activity Center (SAC) Mezzanine. Registrations will be BY SCHOOL NAME. Presenters will check-in at a separate table in the same area. All attendees will receive their Name Badge/Lanyard, Conference Program and Pen upon check-in. SESSIONS Sessions will be held in the following buildings as indicated on the Campus Map: 1 - Secondary School Building (SS) Example: 1-109 means SS Bldg Room 109 the 1 in 109 means 1 st Floor 2 - Arts, Science and Design Center (ASD) Example: 2-209 means ASD Bldg Room 209 the 2 in 209 means 2 nd Floor 3 Education Mobile Unit (EMU) 5 - Library 6 - Primary School Building (PS) 7 - Sports and Activity Center (SAC)
NOTE: The 1 st number in room number indicates what BUILDING the room is located. For example: 1-109 is the Secondary School Building, 1 st floor (as indicated by the first number after the dash) AIS Staff and Volunteers will be available all over campus to guide and assist you to where you need to go. Floor maps will be included for view on your mobile device. KEYNOTE SPEECH The Keynote Speeches will be heard in the AIS Auditorium in the Secondary School Building. Due to legal and contractual agreements, intellectual property rights, and for security reasons, Daniel Pink s keynote speeches are open ONLY to REGISTERED ATTENDEES of the GISA Annual Conference. Therefore, all attendees must be registered for the conference and pay the full conference registration fee. Only those wearing an Official GISA Conference BADGE will be admitted into the areas where Daniel Pink will address members of the conference. Badges will be checked at the door. LUNCH Lunch will be available in several locations across the campus: o o o SAC Old Gym (1 st floor) Blacktop Pavilion Primary School Courtyard AIS has many areas for you to enjoy your lunch, so please feel free to explore the campus and find the perfect lunch spot. HEADS OF SCHOOL Lunch Heads of School are invited to network with colleagues in the Early Learning Center located at 34 Peachtree Avenue (across from Art, Science and Design Center).
EXHIBITS The Exhibits will be in the New Gym in the SAC Building and will open at 8:00 a.m., so we suggest you take time to visit first thing in the morning, between sessions, and during the LUNCH BREAK. We are pleased to have over 100 Exhibitors registered to attend, and they are excited to speak with you about their goods and services. Many will have GOODIES and DOOR PRIZES to give away, so please make time to visit. GISA will be giving away two DOOR PRIZES a Kindle Fire and a Google Nexus 7 Tablet. So make sure you visit the EXHIBITS to enter into the drawing.
