Citizen after observing suspicious subjects called 911 and continued to monitor suspects until the police arrived. Great job by citizen!! >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Officers responded to a Home Invasion in progress in the 17000 Block of Roxbury. A neighbor called in two suspicious subjects in the back yard of this residence. Officers arrived on scene. One of the suspects fled south through the backyards. The second suspect was still at the residence and pretended to be doing some gardening in the flower bed. Further investigation by Officers revealed that there was a good Attempt Home Invasion at the residence and the subject that was pretending to be doing gardening was taken into custody. The second suspect that fled the scene was located by other Officers and was also taken into custody. Both suspects were arrested for Attempt Home Invasion & R&O.

From: 10/11/2017 12:30am To: 10/11/2017 8:00am 24000 Northwestern (Hotel) Misc. coin change and a bag of tools were taken from victims 2017 GMC PU Truck. Victim states his Truck was parked at Hotel in the 24000 Block of Northwestern Service Dr. Sometime between 12:30am- 8:00am someone entered his 2017 GMC Truck by braking out window and stole some misc. change and a bag full of tools. 10/10/2017 5:18pm 23000 Greenfield Rd. (Cell Phone Store) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer Samsung Model Galaxy Note 8 Color BLK - Black Description Black Galaxy Note 8 Phone Notes This phone was the display model. Not offered for sale. Employee s noticed that their Display Galaxy Note 8 Phone was missing from the display area. They checked their CCTV Video and were able to identify the suspect that took the phone as a customer that had come in to do some other business. They looked up the customer s account information and were able to identify the person. Officer who was investigating incident was able to bring up a driver s license photo of suspect and it was a match to the person who was observed taking the phone. The suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation. From: 10/10/2017 9:00pm To: 10/11/2017 7:45am 24000 Sargent Ave. Nothing was found to be missing from victims 2016 Dodge Charger. Victim states sometime between 9:00pm and the following morning at 7:45am someone broke window out on his 2016 Dodge Charger. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

10/11/2017 1:29pm 29000 Chelmsford Rd. Common Carrier Package containing clothing was taken from victim s front porch. Victim states on Wednesday October 11, 2017@ 1:29pm a Common Carrier Package was delivered and left on victim s front porch. The package was stolen before victim could retrieve it. No suspect information. From: 10/12/2017 1:00pm To: 10/13/2017 9:45am 27000 Lahser Rd. (Assisted Living- Apartments) All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2017 Ford Fusion. Victim states sometime between 1:00pm and the following morning at 9:45am someone took All Four Wheels & Tires from her 2017 Ford Fusion. 10/13/2017 5:26am 28000 Telegraph Rd. (Car Dealership) 6- Vehicles had their Navigation systems taken. -2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee -2017 Dodge Ram 1500-2018 Dodge Charger -2017 Chrysler 300-2017 Chrysler 300-2017 Chrysler 300 Officers were dispatched to Car Dealership in the 28000 Block of Telegraph Rd. on the report of suspicious subjects seen walking and kneeling in between vehicles at the car dealership. Officers arrived on scene and observed two subjects running through the parking lot of dealership. One of the subjects was observed trying to hide in between vehicles. He was taken into custody by Officers T. Simon, F. Fulgenzi & Fegreus. The second suspect fled across Telegraph where Officers temporarily lost sight of him. Further investigation by Officers the suspect was located running in the hallway at a Hotel in the 27000 Block of Northwestern Hwy. This subject was ordered several times to stop running but refused Officers orders. The subject was tased and taken into custody. 6- Navigation Systems that were taken from different vehicles at the dealership were

recovered in the parking lot of dealership. Four of the vehicle had their windows broken out. Both suspects were taken into custody for LFA & R&O. 10/14/2017 2:47am 17000 Melrose St. Status S Stolen Handgun Victim states on Friday 10/13/2017 sometime between 8:00pm- 1:30am someone entered victims 2017 Chrysler 300, forced open the glove box and took victims handgun. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Citizens should never leave their handguns in the interior of their vehicles! Victim states sometime between 1:30am- 6:20am someone stole All Four Wheels & Tires from victims 2017 Dodge Charger. From: 10/13/2017 9:00pm To: 10/14/2017 9:00am 28000 Franklin River (Apartments) Laptop Computer was taken from victims 2009 Saturn Aura. Victim states sometime between 9:00pm and the following morning at 9:00am someone entered victim s vehicle through an unlocked door and took victims Laptop. 10/15/2017 12:26pm 22000 Civic Center Dr. (Medical Office Facility) 1-Wheel & Tire were taken from 2008 Chrysler 200. Victim states sometime between 09/18/2017-10/10/2017 while she was in the hospital someone stole 1- Wheel & Tire from her 2008 Chrysler 200.

10/15/2017 9:54pm 18000 W Ten Mile Rd. (Discount Store) Tips: Ensure your vehicle is locked always and valuables are out of sight. Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the business office. Store employee states a skinny B/M walked into the store and asked where the automotive things were. He was told where they were located. The subject was about 5'-6", skinny, 45-50years old, wearing a blue windbreaker style jacket, black pants, and a baseball style hat. A short time later employee observed the same subject leaving the store very quickly. Several minutes later, another employee stated to her co-worker that the daily deposit money was stolen from the rear office. The suspect wasn t located at this time.

Be on the Look Out Highlights: Special Attention: Domestic Aggravated Assault 10/09/2017 10:30am 26000 Block of Stanford Dr. W Southfield Mi 48033 Victim states she went to her boyfriend s house in the 26000 Block of Stanford Dr. W. to talk to her boyfriend and resolve some issue s they have been having. After arriving at her boyfriend s, she was met by her boyfriend and his other girlfriend. Words were exchanged between the two females. With that said her boyfriend then assaulted her several times, choking her, slamming her onto a parked vehicle where she hit her head and then throwing her to the ground. The boyfriend then left with his other girlfriend in her Chevy Malibu. Victim drove herself to the hospital for treatment. When Officers arrived at the hospital, victim was in a neck brace in stable condition. The suspect wasn t located at this time. Further investigation by Officers discovered that there have been other domestic related incidents reported between the couples. It appears that both the male and female have a volatile relationship. Both subjects were identified and incident is under further investigation. Special Attention: LFA s Special Attention: Larceny from Vehicles How to prevent this from happening to you! -Citizens should never leave anything of value inside their vehicle. (Especially Handguns, Purses, Wallets, Cash & Cell Phones!) - If you have a garage you should park your vehicle in the garage and lock the garage. - Wheel Locks are a deterrent but don t leave the wheel lock key in the interior of your vehicle, especially the center console or glove box. This is the first place they will look for the wheel lock. -After parking your vehicle turn your wheels all the way to the right or the left. This will make it difficult to get the lug nuts off the front wheels. A&B/ Aggravated Assault- 1- Arrest 10/10/2017 7:55am 24000 Block of Garner St. (Private School/ Academy) Officers were dispatched to Private School/ Academy in the 24000 Block of Garner St. on report of some type of disturbance at the school. Officers arrived and located victim of an assault. Victim stated she was sitting at a table in the lunch room when suspect walked up behind her asking why she threatened him last night. Victim did not want talk to him so she put her headphones back on and he put his hands around her neck and started choking her. Victim said she started seeing stars and blacking out when her sister came up and pushed suspect away. Victim instead of notifying Security or Teachers called her brother who showed up at the school with another sister. The brother and sister of victim showed up at the school and caused a disturbance.
