Arrive in Kennebunkport by 12:30 for free time for lunch on your own in Dock Square. Then meet your local guide for a narrated tour of Kennebunkport. Drive past the sandy beaches and rocky coastline, past the George Bush estate at Walker s Point, hear the history of these shipbuilding towns and the legend of the Wedding Cake House. You'll also visit the seaside Franciscan Monastery with its beautiful landscaping, outdoor shrines and chapel. Make your way north to Portland for a 4:45 pm buffet dinner before boarding the Nova Star Cruise Ferry to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. A Maine Tour Lobsterette will meet you at the hotel with a souvenir lobster hat for each passenger and will escort you to the ferry terminal on Portland harbor to assist with boarding (6:30pm). Ship staff will do a pre-check of all immigration documents while seated on board the coach. You will board the coach by 7:00 pm. Ship sails at 8:00 pm with your motorcoach on board.
