GENERAL ORGANIZATION The 3 rd MEDSEATIES Meeting will be held on the 16 th & 17 th of April 2015 in Thessaloniki, Greece. The First Day of the meeting will focus on: Presenting the progress made on the different activities of WP4 and WP5 implemented by partners in each territory and prepare the next activities The Second Day of the Meeting will focus on: Discussing the administrative and financial management of the project and the strategy and communication tools of the project (morning session) Tour Visit Promenade in Thessaloniki s New Waterfront (afternoon session) Objectives of the Meeting Presenting all the activities implemented since Genoa Meeting in September 2014 Sharing conclusions of the WP4 related to local governance improvement Sharing experiences and results of the pilot projects Expressing doubts and difficulties in the implementation of the activities in each territory and finding solutions Clarifying administrative and financial management Planning the next activities

The first part (around 75,800 m2) of the Thessaloniki s new waterfront Renovation Project was completed in 2008 and the second part (around 163,000 m2) started in 2011 and was completed in 2013. The total length of the New Waterfront is 3km. The sea background of the gulf of Thessaloniki constitutes amazing scenery, where the ephemeral and mutable elements, create a different atmosphere each time.
